And yet I've not seen one question addressing the massive human suffering in Darfur. What should we make of this?

that's because admitting that gay people are gay because of genes, and that they deserve the same rights as any other person is more distasteful and frightening to christians than genocide.

isn't it sad?

It's kinda hard NOT to confront something when it keeps getting thrown in your face, the way homosexuality is in this day and age. You'll notice that most of the questions are posed by pro-homosexual people asking Christians (generally) to explain the stance of the most extreme anti-homosexual Christian groups.

The Christians who are trying to do something about the crisis in Darfur (and there are many) are mostly too busy to be bothered with these silly message boards. (As opposed to me, who really should be doing something else myself -- now you've made feel guilty!!)

What should Christians do about Darfur?
The homosexual political lobby is more of a threat to way of life most Christians want to live right here at home.
For example they continue to spread the lie...that they are born that way...yet documented studies on identical twins in which one is gay and the other is not prove that you aren't born that way.

You don't seem to care about the suffering either until it can be used as ammo for a loaded question.
We do care and pray for mankind. Christians are being slaughtered there as well.

As for homosexuals, I'll leave part of a post on my 360 blog for you.

"Many citizens and apparently some ministers believe that the bible says that it is alright to be gay. God loves everyone they say. Well yes, God loves everyone BUT if you are homosexual then you are sinning and you won't be accepted into Heaven.
As any parent knows their children are going to mess up and as a parent you will have to punish them. Does this mean you stop loving them as soon as they made the choice to do something that got them into trouble? Of course not, but you discipline them because they need to be brought back on course.
So God may still love you even if you choose to be gay but there is no way he is letting you into Heaven. That is your punishment."

GREAT POINT!!!! but, people here, in America, are more worried about what Christians think about homosexuals. Christians should be spending their money in giving to Darfur. That way, you get two birds with one stone, per se.

looks like we're just answering the questions people post up on the board. if you ask me my opinion about the gay issue i'm going to tell you, otherwise stop asking questions about gays.
