The same reason people care about football -- for sport!

S.P., there is a God. He created you in His image, so you are inherently good. We may do bad things, but we are the children of the Creator. It may not make sense to us, because we live in this world where reason and science equate truth. But His ways are not our ways. He cares about you so much that he sent his son to die for all of mankind as the perfect sacrifice. When you open your mouth and tell God that you believe that Christ died for you and you are willing to follow Him--you are set free from sin.
Does it mean that you will never sin again? No. It means that you are cleansed each time you ask forgiveness, you were bought at a price ( the life of Christ ) was given in exchange for your sins 2000 years ago. We have a free and eternal gift of salvation and everlasting life.
I dare you to try it.

God made the world perfect in the beginning....He loved Adam and Eve and they were His creation just as we are all His creation- when sin entered the world through them- because of Satan tempting them and deceiving them....God had to make a way for us to be with Him because He is sinless- and He is far from sin- sin is not allowed in His kingdom. God is all good- holy and pure- and there had to be a way for us to be cleansed- forgiven- and that is only through Jesus Christ, when you repent of sin and put your faith in Him....you shall be saved! Sin is very serious- many do not know just how serious it is- for it separates you from God. I am thankful the Lord took my sins upon Himself and died for me, so that I may live- I dont deserve that and there is NO greater love!

"God demonstrated His own love towards us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Because his son died for our sins. So we wouldn't have to take the pain and suffering that He felt before He died. God wants us to join Him in Heaven, but his toll is sin. If we sin we don't get to see the golden streets and see our loved ones again, we would go straight to hell. To join Him in Heaven repent for your sins, and one day join Him and your loved ones again and celebrate.

He gave His only begotten Son so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to Him. I'd say He cares alot.

Why does He care about our sins? Because He loves us. We are His children, heirs to the Kingdom.
