Man kind is not sinless, every man falls short. Only God Himself is sinless. Therefor, God can punish whoever He wants to. He will also forgive everyone who asks Him for forgiveness.

You are not sinless. No one is. Romans 3:10 says "No one is good, not one, and no one seeks after God"

Bcoz to claim that you are sinless, you are not being humble. Therefore, you are arrogant in your claims and that is a major SIN. Sinfulness is not something you judge yourself to be for you may have caused hurt unknowingly to someone, and in their eyes, you have sinned.
