before you take it literally and spread it among yourself as the truth? Wouldn't it be possible some dubious organizations are changing some of the verses, add, subtract just to suit their century scheme of whatever that might be?

'Shall I seek a Lord, other than God while He is the Lord of all things?' And no soul earns evil but only against itself; nor does any bearer of burden bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord will be your return, and He will inform you of that wherein you used to differ.

And whoso commits a fault or a sin, then throws the blame thereof on an innocent person, certainly bears the burden of calumny and a manifest sin.

There are many people who grew up in homes which claimed to be Christian but were violent and abusive. These people, now grown, suffer from a form of post traumatic stress disorder and cannot stomach the precepts of Christianity. How do you think God judges these people?

accepting him as your personal savior.....
i understand that, and i respect your belief. but those who say that it is the only way- to experience communion with God-
how could you possibly know what other people have experienced, and whether or not they have or haven't? you can't...just like you can't prove to anyone else your own experience. only you know your own truth.

there are many to have claimed connection and communion with God-

to claim to have or know the one and only path to God is ignorant, misinformed and righteous.

I think that people shouldn't judge someone just because the lifestyle they were born with. I'm gay, and I've always known I was gay. Nothing ever triggered homosexuality into my life, so I belive God made me this way because he loves me. The bible only mentions homosexuality seven times, and never in the four Gospels, therefore it can't be proven that Jesus spoke for it or against it!

The Iranian Parliament recently voted to (re)institute the wearing of distinctive colored sashes/badges for non-Muslims. Jews once again in history will have to wear yellow badges in Iran. The Iranian parliament added a red sash for Zoroastrians (sp), will use the blue sash for Christians.

This is not new. Omar, the caliph who succeeded Mohammed, delineated in his Charter of Omar the twelve laws under which a dhimmi, or non-Muslim, was allowed to exist as a "nonbeliever" among "believers." The Charter codified the conditions of life for Jews under Islam -- a life which was forfeited if the dhimmi broke this law. Among the restrictions of the Charter: Jews were forbidden to touch the Koran and forced to wear a distinctive (sometimes dark blue or black) habit with a sash.

So that the ruler of Iran, Nejad, who has announced that he wishes to wipe Israel off the map, is only taking a cue from the originators of Islam.

I have read in Islamic historic books that prophet Muahammed married a owmn (Safeya) after he killed her father, her husband, and her brother. It is also mentioned that her husband (Kenana) was killed by torture.

I'm not a religious man or an atheist, just an unbiased spectator. Whatever your beliefs are, there are too many damn people in this world that need to get over themselves. Stop praying for the problems in the world to go away, when it is your structures who caused most of them in the first place. Maybe if you spend less time claiming your beliefs as absolute truth on yahoo answers you could do something to help the problems at home and abroad, I know I do. Just something to contemplate, though I doubt many of you will.

I believe one of the Ayatolahs' wrote it in the 1970's or 80's. It entails a step by step plan for Islam to reach world domination. Step #1 was to overthrow the Shah of Iran Step #2 was to make Iraq an Islamic republic as Iran is. Step #3 was to inundate London, England with Muslim immigrants.
