I do not believe that any one action will determine a persons eternal life.God is in control of all that. God loves us all. he knows peoples hearts.only truly evil people will not go to heaven . sorry you lost those people to death. a Friend killed himself. I KNOW that he is in heaven. theres no doubt in my mind that he will be there when I pass on to heaven. He was a great person. Peace. and Merry Christmas.

Nope...no such thing as Hell. That's just a misinterpretation of a few pros in the Bible. Not even a priest or for that matter the pope could tell you, using Bible knowledge, that Hell even exists.

When you die you go to sleep. Nothing more, nothing less. That's what the Bible says. God loves people so much that he would never torment them with a such a thing as Hell. Ask your priest to prove otherwise by using the Bible...then talk to someone who really does know the Bible...like a Jehovah's Witness.

I personally am not a Jehovah's Witness, raised and baptized Catholic, but the scary part is...they seem to be more bang on then any other religion on the face of this planet!

I know that answers like this will never get me the best answer but then again...people don't want to hear the truth, if that was so, then they would stop going to the churches and sinagogues. The sermons there are just to tickle your ears and if it sounds good about going to heaven...then a catholic you must be...or any other religion that will endorse what you want to hear.

No.

That is calculated bunk started by religion merchants. Religion is a business, and wants you to believe that you need it/them to put you on the right side of the Creator.

Never confuse religion, which operates the same way as politics or any other shady business with faith. Not at all the same.

Those who claim a monopoly on salvation will be among those going to Hell, for bearing false witness in a most important area, the salvation of others.

How can one find the Creator when there are so many trying to block the way? Like trying to walk a path while people shout and throw sand in your eyes.

Some have said that Suicide is the unforgiveable sin -- because once a person commits suicide, they are unable to ask forgiveness.

IMO, suicide is not the determining factor of whether a person goes to Heaven or Torments. (Hades).

If a person is a Christian (a person who is "in Christ"), if because of a medical condition or other psychological cause, etc. they then commit suicide ... if we believe in the safety and security of the believers, then they are still safe. They may have missed out on what would have been the "best years" of their life if they had just waited a while.

i assume "god" might want to have a challenge with semantics and loopholes. i have self belief those who imagine they could commit some style of transgression and then purely pray away the "sin" have already neglected the mark with that reasoning. In my Christian days I thought it a sin to commit suicide, even if it isn't for me or somebody else to guage if that is an computerized sentence to hell. i'm no longer Christian yet am purely attempting to reply the question to the stunning of my ability. The passable element i visit assert (and oddly adequate it is something that i got here upon from my Christian days or perhaps if that locate sensible): 'suicide is a long-lasting determination to a short-time period hardship'. thinking you stated your melancholy you're in all danger taking into interest this. no longer effective what you're depressed about yet after I've realized something with the help of my reviews i have got here upon that once you struggle through this you may want to tutor to be giggling at your self or wondering that those recommendations you've now are stupid faster or later. I absolutely were there.

In my pastor days I was confronted with this problem. I found no scriptural support for suicide being an unforgivable sin. It is heartbreaking but not unforgivable. Therefore if you believe in Christianity and its precepts there seems to be no reason that the suicide would end up in hell.

By the way... I am no longer a Christian.

In times pass this what thought to be so. That a person who kills themselves goes to hell.
Now this is not held to be so. Their are many circumstances for why a person might do such a thing. Most has to do with trauma. Which leaves a person unable to discern rightly.
i.e. those men and women who jumped to their deaths from the Twin Towers on 9/11/01

Sometimes those who commit suicide are not acting normally emotionally or mentally - they may be suffering from depression or trauma or other problems that affect them emotionally beyond their control. When they take their own life, their spirits go to the same spirit world as anyone else who dies, and were all remain until resurrection and judgment. I believe if they were not in full control of their mind, God will judge them accordingly and all will be well. God knows the person, He knows their hearts, He knows all the circumstances surrounding their actions, and he will pass a perfect judgment.

As for going to hell, I think one has to do a lot more than cut his/her own life short in order to earn a seat there.

Most people commit suicide because they are suffering and can't deal with the world anymore. Many people believe that they are doing a selfless act: making the world a better place by removing themselves from it. I have a real problem with any god that would punish someone for that.

Hi Chad!

I noticed your question. The thing about it is the Bible, God's word, will live forever and ever. It is actually alive. God is holy and has requirements to be able to enter into His kingdom. His word says that we are not to kill. That no murderers will enter into his kingdom. But, God loves us so much and desires so much to have a personal relationship with us that he gave His only Son as a sin sacrifice for our sins. Sin is what keeps us out of God's kingdom and drives a wedge between us and that relationship with him. We have hope if we accept his gift of life.
God also writes in Luke 12:4 &5, "I tell you, My friends, do not dread and be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom you should fear: fear Him Who, after killing, has power to hurl into hell; yes, I say to you fear Him!" I don't know about you, but God has been so good to me. He wants to rescue us and help us. For those that have killed themselves, they robbed God of rescuing them. He always has the best in mind for us. Sometimes, we get in the way and He is such a gentleman that He won't get in our way if that is what we will. We aren't robots. He gave us the choice to choose life or death. I hope you find what you're looking for. God has a great plan for your life and for the life of your family!
