I don't really believe in that show "Crossing Over with John Edwards" but a long time ago I watched an episode and he told some people that there mother/grandmother was on the "other side" happily and she had the dog with her. And the people started freaking out crying. My dog died, I'd like to think he is in heaven.

I don't mean anything blasphemous. I'm saying to express how you truly feel rather than lie to him and yourself. I think honesty is always the best way to reslove a problem. I know I have a problem! and my problem is anger! And I have criticized the critics. I'm the first to admit that I am wrong for doing this! A bad experience in the church has imbedded something in my mind that doesn't simply "go away" I wish it where that easy! I truly believe that a man or woman can be saved on their own. But its always best to find a good loving church! All of us desire to be loved! Even the most stubborn arrogant people! My view on some has led me astray! But its so hard for me to overlook people who insult the gospel by being cruel to others! So mabe I have spent to much time trying to be God rather than be like God! I'm no judge either! I Desire the closest relatiionship possible to God! But I have to get over my temper! Its caused alot of problems!

Do you believe in dinosaurs and such like? Why dont you celebrate birthdays, christmas, easter? I know it has something to do with pagan rituals but surely celebrating the day you were born is something important? I am not a believer in God but I am very interested in your beliefs.

Surely there is a huge way between saying 'things are so intricate they must've been designed' and 'they must've been designed by this certain G-d who is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient and who has taught His word through the Bible'?

There may or may not be proof of design, I'm sure that is up to people's views on whether it is a logical belief, but even if there is, there is no proof that it has to be the Biblical G-d who designed things.

Humans have over 900 genes in their DNA codes that are no longer active but were active in our ancestors with different lifestyles, and about 70 of these “fossil genes” were abandoned after the split from chimpanzees. This means around 830 “fossil genes” are still in our DNA code and have been there since before the split. In today’s society in the United States DNA evidence (on its own) is concrete enough to convict individuals of murder by connecting their DNA to the crime scene so, is this enough evidence to prove humans evolved from something other than Adam & Eve?

WHITE LIE...But some situations will FORCE YOU TO HAVE TO LIE TO PROTECT YOURSELF OR ANOTHER...FROM JUDGMENT...EX...Did you have sex with him?...(now i feel that is an intrusive question and it is no one's business to know anyway)...believe me i have been asked that...and so have my friends...go figure....you would have to lie...whether you did or not...cuz if you were to say.."I'd rather not say"...they will ASSUME YOU DID...AND BLAB IT ALL OVER THE PLACE??? my now x-inlaws are wanting me to come to their Christmas dinner. I wasn't exactly accepted when my husband was a live, and emotionally I just don't know if I can handle the holier than thou attitudes of some of the individuals who will be there. I know the decision is mine to make, but maybe if there were some suggestions concerning coping with this situation, I might be more inclined to go. Any ideas?

Doesn't it bother you when people say their is no God and then go out and celebrate christmas?!? Umm, hello! the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of Christ, the SON OF GOD! Before you go claiming there is no God, you better look into what your actions are saying, don't you think? This applies especially to people experimenting with religion... what's your opinion?

At a summer camp I work at they won't let us sing this song anymore because of the words "Is it true today, that when people pray, we'll see dead men rise..." They argued that that sort of thing doen't happen anymore. Do you agree?
