At a summer camp I work at they won't let us sing this song anymore because of the words "Is it true today, that when people pray, we'll see dead men rise..." They argued that that sort of thing doen't happen anymore. Do you agree?

This camp is in northern Wisconsin. It's called Northern Grace Youth Camp (so it's obviously Christian) and it's part of the Grace Ministries (they don't really consider themselves a denomination).

No, I do not agree, and they are sadly misinformed. All over the world, especially in so called "third world nations" the dead are rising. I am eagerly awaiting the time that God allows me to see this with my own eyes.
I have given this song a lot of thought over the years, and I truly do not care if God uses me as the one in the spotlight or if I am just there to see history being made. I just want to be where God is moving and in His presence at all times.
What camp was this at? If it was Christian, what denomination?

well i sing the song but you have a point there, i dont think when we pray we will see dead men rise. but God said in the last days we will ascend into heaven and the dead in Christ will rise first.

People who don't live for Love and Peace are not living. So through prayer and work we will see the dead men rise!

I don't see anything wrong with these lyrics. The song just restates a Bible message.
If your church group doesn't agree with the Bible, perhaps you should look to another church?
