I experienced logically inexplicable circumstances after my mothers sudden death. While I would like to contribute all symptoms to shock or post traumatic stress, several individuals witnessed the same inexplicable events. I want to know if we are alone.

Just to let you know that you're not alone in thinking that women should be ordained and that our messages and teachings are authoritative enough without the benifit of male 'covering' and that marraiges should be built upon mutual submission with husbands sharing their socially allowed authority with their wives like Christ shared his authority with the church... I think that power-hungry some people have totally misinterpreted (perhaps maliciously) the language of authority in the Bible to keep women spiritually subjugated and intellectually controlled. Check out '10 Lies the Church Tells Women' by J. Lee Grady. It's not bad. If you disagree with our interpretations of the Bible, go somewhere else and flame. Thanks.

I use to always think about I never knew anyone close who has died. I would watch Johnathan Edwards medium show and think about this. I would feel like no one is there I know if I died. My uncle who I was not close to died a few months ago and I have dreamed of him twice. The last time he appeared while I was doing something bad and it was vey symbolic of things going on in my life and past fears and thoughts of afterlife.

Do you think I manifested this or it is possible for people and god to communicate throug dreams?

"The human realm (Manushya) is the most favoured of the six realms because as a human being one has the motivation and the opportunity to practise the Dharma and to achieve enlightenment."

I'm not religious, I don't believe in gohsts or hauntings or anything, I do believe in God, but I don't think God is a part of everyday life. However, last night I had a dream where my friend, two months deceased, where I sat down next to him and talked to him. It was very casual, and we didn't talk long, I asked him what happened, and if he's seen whats been going on down and earth, and he answered both questions enough to make me believe he might have visited in a dream. Thought of if this is a religious visitation or just my imagination would be appreciated.

If not, then why are Christians accused of being homophobic?? If some Christians are afraid of them, in what way and why? I would like to put this term to rest if there's no basis for it, "homophobia" that is. If Christians aren't afraid of homosexuals, then why would homosexuals believe it to be so? Any evidence either way without name calling or slurs either direction is welcomed.

Does your opinion on this depend on what religion the person practices? Would it make a difference if it were a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Pagan, Scientologist, etc.? If so, why?

if i were to write a new book, (note that genesis, matthew, luke, revelation are all books, not chapters), and have it go in harmony with the rest of the bible, claim that god inspired me to write it as a new addition to the bible, would you or would you not take it seriously? if not, why not? why would you choose mine to be false and another persons to be right?

if you say "because paul wrote that cursed is he who takes from or adds to the bible" - i will assume u know the bible wasnt constructed for years after paul wrote that.

"Time heals all wounds" is an old saying, but I read an interview recently with John Lennon and he's quoted as saying "Time wounds all heels"
Cynical I know, but which of these quote relates more to you and why?
I think it's a great play on words. Very simple and true in its own right.
Would you agree?
