He is buried in the Cave of Machpela, called the Tomb of the Patriarchs, in Hebron, Palestine with his wife Sarah, son Isaac, Isaac's wife Rebbecca, Jacob, Jacob's wife Leah, Adam, Eve, and the head of his grandson Esau.
Rachel is buried elsewhere.
The tomb currently houses a makeshiftish synagogue, and used to contain a mosque which was abandoned and destroyed by the Israeli government after an anti-Arab terrorist incident sparked rioting.

In Hebron
According to the Bible, Abraham purchased a field from "the sons of Heth" with a cave in it to bury his wife, Sarah. When Abraham himself died, his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him with her "in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite"
Hebron is located 30 km south of Jerusalem

There is very little of written record for that era (literacy was not useful, hence uncommon) and I doubt that any information is available on the subject. In any event, I have seen none.
