I'm an Atheist, but also a very friendly guy, if I may say so. I don't do much wrong, try not to hurt others, etc. A normal human being.

I know many Atheists, all with their own set of morals. Some agree with abortion, some don't. Most of them fight for gay rights, some oppose homosexuality. Just to name a few. I figured out for myself why murder is wrong.

My question is not about an individual moral, or an individual item. I'm just truly curious how you do it. You have your Bible, with God's word. That Bible tells you right from wrong. I disagree with many things that God/The Bible considers to be wrong.

I wonder if you ever disagree with what God tells you to be right or wrong? If not, how did you come to that conclusion? And if you might disagree with something God said, how do you live with that?

Since the word Trinity does not appear in the bible, show me proof that Jesus said "I am God the almighty" 1000 dollars to who ever finds a verse like that.

We have two men (A and B) below, which goes to heaven and which goes to hell:

A. Someone who was raised Catholic, but started committing crimes when he was 20. He rapes, tortures, and kills hundreds of children for 30 years. Once he's caught and awaiting death row he finds god and gives confession to a catholic priest. He apologizes, asks for forgiveness, and he does so sincerely.

B. A man who was never religious. Does not believe in god, but is a good person. He gives to charities and avoids major sins. Dies trying to save a kid from a burning fire.

It does not matter, what your belief is. But I know I'm not the only one who been asked some retarded questions about my belief.

For example: Take a muslim woman. Like if someone were to ask her, are you muslim? Or what do you believe in? Or what do you do on the weekends? WTF, for real. Lol, I have heard my muslim friends tell me these stories and more.

Why do you attack my beliefs? Most christians do not attack atheists (at least here on Yahoo), however, the religion forums are filled with bible bashing, God attacking people who continually attempt to test my faith?

Is that why his gospel never made it past the roman church leaders when the new testemant was being edited in the 4th century, along with many other gospels that did not say what these early christian leaders wanted you to think...hmmmmm the bible, this is what christians believe is the word of god, what a joke your faith really is.....please feel free to voice your pathetic rebukes

A. Big Bubba who says he's not going to kill you because if he did the warden would send the guards down to beat him within an inch of his life, and lock him in solitary for a loooong time.

B. Big Louie who says he will not kill you if you give him half of what you own, half of what you earn, walk ten feet behind him at all times, and ask permission before you do ANYTHING.

C. Big Carl who says he will not kill you because he does not want to and doesn't see any reason or need to kil you.

A or B determines how strong of a Christian you are.
C you are an agnostic or an athiest. we do not live our lives out of fear, we live good lives because we want to. not all athiests are good people. Neither are all Christians.

I have to discribe religion as a sword.. ex. Religion is like a sword, in which the blade represents the truth as the handle is the scriptures that you hold forcefully.

You say you are a GOD fearing person-and this because you know that God will cast you into the eternal pits of Hell if you become like me "a realist". I usually don't rule people out in my questions. But for this one I'm truly only interested in the opinions of fellow non-believers.

I'm an atheist. I've seen a lot of religious answers to my questions. And I have to admit, more and more I get the feeling that religious people use a completely different language.

I mean this with no disrespect to the religious people out there, but do you also sometimes have feelings like "WTF are they talking about?" or "How on earth can a human being even think like that?" ?
