You say you are a GOD fearing person-and this because you know that God will cast you into the eternal pits of Hell if you become like me "a realist". You say I will go to hell and so will all those that do not believe like you do because YOU ARE CHOSEN YOU Are saved-AND YET WHAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN IS AN EXCUSE TO kill THIS PLANET! You are destined for heaven so why do you need to conserve energy-why do you need to recycle-why do you need to stop abusing the earths resources? YOU are saved!!! I on the other hand see your stupidity for what it is-AN Excuse to ruin this planet-take from it all you want and to spurge upon its resources because YOU ARE SAVED-and so as we see the oceans depleted and the forrests diminish and prices go higher and bigger population masses out of control-YOU ARE SAVED! AND I AM DESTINED FOR HELL-OHHHH! I get it now!!! You mean the HELL here on EARTH that you and your religions are creating for those of us that would try to talk about TRUE BROTHERHOOD sure!

My dear, where did all this come from? What you just stated makes absolutley NO sense @ all. We are saved because we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior in our lives. You are not braver than me because you think God is a danger to humanity. God created humanity and the earth. I care for the things like energy-saving and recycling, tree preservation and the like; however, this world will not last whether you save energy or recycle or not. Jesus will return and there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. I love God not because He can cast me into Hell but because of all the great things He does for me and you and the rest of the world. It's called respect!

The relationship between God and the world is like the relationship between a mind and a body. God instructs us how to live at harmony with the world and fullfill our function as part of the bigger picture. The more people follow those instructions, the healthier the world is. Just as a cancerous cell in the body, people are capable of doing things against God's will and detrimental to the world. People can even claim to do so in the name of religion. That is not true religion, because it is not for the betterment of the whole. God loves all his creations and wants what's best for them. The heaven we will go to for following God's will is not in the sky, but the harmony on earth that will result from our own good behavior.

Great question. Here's why I'm NOT god-fearing... Because heven and hell are states of mind that people in religion set for themselves, and in fact are just ultimatums. They feel that they want eveyrone to become part of that religion because if you're not a member of that particular church, you will go to hell. Since not everyone is a part of that particular church, and there are more than one of these, I would safely assume that all "souls" go to hell.

Here's a different perspective. Not everyone believes that those places exist, but in fact when you die on this planet, you are held in a different dimension to wait until your next life; reincarnation, if you will. This means that you are not bound to go to one place forever, but you switch between the planes and dimensions because of a certain objective you must accomplish in order to remain alive in spirit, no matter where you are.

The popularity desired from certain religions depends on their activity of assaulting other religions. Each religion has their own ideas on where everyone on the planet should center themselves relative to their beliefs. The Muslims are right according to themselves, the Pagans are right according to themselves, et cetera et cetera.

The world we live in would be much better if we didn't always have people saying you MUST do this or you MUST do that or you MUST believe what we believe or else. That, I feel, is considered a threat call to everyone else. I'm sure the idea of threatening people is not acceptable in any religion or spiritualistic community, therefore I keep my tongue tied.

I am saved! I am God - Fearing. I am a realist! I also conserve, recycle and try very hard to protect and preserve this wonderful world MY GOD created. Where do you get off saying that because I am saved, I am killing this planet. You are killing the planet creating all of this hate in your mind. To me, throwing a plastic bag away or chopping down a tree does not do as much damage to the world as spreading the most horrible disease known to man, HATE!

You make your own hell on earth. Stop blaming others because of your own decisions. What a cop out! Most God loving people don't kill and those who do are in the military. You are wrecking the planet just as much as everyone else. You people make me sick with your snivelling about what the big bad religions are doing to your poor suffering non-believers.

Well, not everyone who believes in God is A) killing the planet or B) planning on being in heaven! I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, and we believe that the majority of obedient mankind will be given the chance to live here, on earth, each day closer to perfection, cleaning up the earth and making it into the paradise that Jehovah intended mankind to live in in the first place! ( We believe that there will be 144,000 chosen from among man to serve in heaven with Jesus)
My point is this: God has told us that He will bring to ruin the ones ruining the earth ( Rev 11:18) and we try our best to not be one of the people that Jehovah targets for destroying the earth! We believe it will be our right and duty to clean up the earth after Armageddon... so no, I don't think you're braver than me. Foolish, perhaps, but not braver. I think it takes bravery to stand up for what you believe in in the face of opposition such as yours.

So sorry that you have become demented and confused and devoured by the devil....just so that you have no excuse at judgement when you see God face to face...

You have to repent, have faith in God, be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, receive the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. THen you have to live right before God, the creator of heaven and earth.

Usually I do not even bother to answer such foolish questions that even the bible speaks of, just because most people that would conjure up such a question in such the way that you did, really just prefers to get other bible believing people rawled up and upset so that you can laugh at home in front of your computer, but I wanted you to be one of the people that were told what to do to be saved for real so that when you stand before the face of God, you have no excuse. If you want to find this information in the bible, start with the book of Acts. Read the last chapter of Luke first.

don't worry, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord, you will be one of them whether you believe it or not. And believe me, just as you see yourself in a mirror when you look in it, I am glad that you asked this question so that I can tell you the answer.

I hope you come to the knowledge of the truth one day in your life.

J.

I don't believe in a burning hell myself (the Bible doesn't teach that), and see man's future on a paradise earth. With that in mind I think that we need to respect the earth, otherwise we are also disrespecting God.

Revelations 21:1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away...

Matthew 5:5
“Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.

You talk to everyone as if they are Christian and that is incorrect. I am not a Christian. I believe that this life is a test into Heaven or Hell. Religion alone does not determine heaven or hell. Yes, it is a large portion but others can be forgiven. God isn't here to pick and choose people and throw them into pits of fire. We take care of earth because this is our test. There aren't just humans to take care of, but animals that in many ways depend on US for life. It is too complex, a mistake by both religious and non religious people. Everyone is accountable.

As a non-believer, I agree with all you say. However, you (as am I) fighting an uphill battle with the 'believers', who hold no store in any opinion but their own. "Revealed truth", to them says it all. And one can never reason with those of room-temperature IQ. As for your concern with this planet, if this country (US) is lucky hopefully we will never again in my lifetime, elect another Republican, for sure not another Bush. And maybe we will get what we truly need --- a third party.... But, again, you are right -- keep the poor down, and uneducated, and they are therefore unable to properly reason. What we need, of course is control on this government, (which is out of control) required population control (on this planet, for all people) and some real equality in helping everyone, including poor black women in Kenya not to have, on average those 9 children. Glad to see a comment like this....sometimes think I'm the only one out here who feels those who govern ought to be governed ----a tad more closely than they are.... good for you
