I do
Many people are confused about this subject and I hope that I am able to help clear up some of the confusion.
1)"No Im not Jewish... "
Neither is God and He keeps the Sabbath Genesis 2:1-3
Neither were Adam and Eve and they kept the Sabbath. Genesis 2:1-3
Many of the people in the early church were not Jewish and they ALL kept the Sabbath
Acts 13:42
Acts 17:1-4
Acts 18
additionally IF the Sabbath is only for Israel "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. " (Galatians 3:29)
If you are a Christian you are decendant of Abraham
2)Not me, because Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament foreshadowings
Does that mean Christians can murder and steal and worship other gods? Then why are we getting rid of the only commandment that starts with "REMEMBER"? Could it be God knew people would stop keeping it?
3)"to be honest nobody really knows when the Sabbath day is"
So you mean to tell me that EVERY Jew around the WHOLE world woke up one morning and forgot which day was the Sabbath?
Any Jew can tell you which day is the Sabbath they have been keeping it since Sinai
Any Christian can tell you that Jesus rose on Sunday, and Mark 16 says Jesus rose the day after sabbath.
additionly the US Naval observatory and the Royal Observatory confirm that the Sabbath(Saturday) we keep today is the Same one Jesus kept.
4) "I do. But according to the Epistle to the Hebrews, when we have come to Christ, we have entered into our permanent sabbath."
True, that is the spirit of the law, rest in Jesus, but does that mean you can break the letter of the law
Spirit of the law:
"Don't be angry at your brother for no reason" (Matt 5:22)
Letter of the law
"Don't murder"
can you say "Yes, I murder people, but I keep the spirit of the law"
Spirit of the Law
"Don't lust" (Matt 5:28)
Letter of the law
"Don't commit adultery"
can you say "Yes, I cheat on my wife, but I keep the spirit of the law"
Spirit of the Law
"Rest in Jesus"
Letter of the law
"Keep the Sabbath"
can you say "No, I don't keep the Sabbath, but I keep the spirit of the law"
If you keep the Spirit of the law then you HAVE TO KEEP the letter... its automatic.
5)"One day in seven is sufficient" and "however, it is just a day set aside to spend with the lord. "
God did not say "A" 7th day He said "THE" 7th day is "THE" Sabbath. The word "THE" means something specific.
6)"Sunday is the Lord's Day"
NO WHERE in the Bible does it EVER call Sunday the Lord's day. There is NO verse that says this. If I am wrong please provie the verse The ONLY day called the Lord's day is the Sabbath(Saturday).
Exodus 20:8
Isa 58:13,14
Matthew 12:8
Mark 2:28
Luke 6:5
Provide one verse that calls Sunday the Lord's Day
7)"Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."
How is the 7th day Sabbath a shadow of something that is to come? The 7th day Sabbath is a sign of CREATION which is in the past. Even the commandment says it is a sign of creation
"Remeber the Sabbath day to Keep it holy" ... WHY? "Because in 6 days the Lord made the Heavens and the Earth etc."(Creation)
Colosians is talking about ceremonial Sabbaths, like passover not the 7th day Sabbath.
The Bible upholds the obsevance of the Sabbath(Saturda)

The Catholic Church Worships on both Saturday evening and Sundays and daily of the week. for sure we honor the sabbath and likewise the first day of the week because it change into the day Christ rose from the grave.yet we do not word a Jewish sabbath like the seventh Day Adventist do as they outfitted there beliefs around the Sabbath because the Jehovah's Witnesses did round what they have self belief is Gods genuine call. yet we because the Catholic Church were outfitted around the sacrifice of the Mass in perpetual memory of Christ sacrifice.

It starts Friday at sundown and goes til sundown on Saturday. True christians still observe it rather than the pagan day of worship which is Sunday. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy, it did not say the Lords day. The Romans worshiped on Sunday and Constantine made it law in 325 AD.

Saturday is the sabbath, the seventh day, on which God rested from all His labor in creation. Sunday is the Lord's Day, the day most Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Check out Colossians 2:16-17:
16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the SABBATH DAYS:
17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

The Sabbath is sundown to sundown, so it's two days.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
It doesn't say God rested on Sunday.
One day in seven is sufficient.

biblically yes. as we deemed sunday the first day of our week and saturday the last, then saturday would be our "day of rest" however, it is just a day set aside to spend with the lord.
