No they did not. Ever.
The ONLY time that hominids and dinosaurs co-existed is in the comic strip B.C.
After all, the bible is mythology.
Evolution is reality.
Um, wildnarc, get some education ok? Hominids and dinos NEVER co-existed. There is a several million year gap between them.

A behemoth is a dinosaur described in Job. I think the oldest book we have. This was after the flood. It must have been a baby / egg on the ark. Shortly after the flood and before the tower of babal fell, people still had long lives. So the behemoth also had a long life & grew large.
Also, in Genesis, the waters brought forth dragons with the fish, and also birds evolved from the the waters. I look at the creation that the waters brought forth creatures as egg layers. Everything lived a long time and many (like crocodiles) kept growing. So, when mankind was created, animals didn't die. So, some of the animals were huge. But there wasn't death until after the fall of Adam. Death reigned and when a big animal died, another animal turned into a vulture dinosaur (like a traunosorus rex) to eat a dead dinosaur.
Even after the fall mankind lived to nearly 1000 years.

No, man did not walk beside dinosaurs but that doesn't mean the Bible is not true. The Bible should not be taken literally but it should be believed in for the truths that it teaches. If it is to be taken literally as some fundementalist type Christians are going to say in their answers then explain to me how God made the world in 6 days when there was no time or measurement of a day in the beginning without the sun and stars. Just how long was that first day? Maybe a couple of million of our years.

I believe the Bible is entirely true but I also believe that evolution is true as well. And there is no evidence that man walked with the dinosaurs.
I don't believe that the Bible can be taken as science, or even as a history of creation. I believe that to understand the Bible we need to understand the culture, place, setting and literary styles used by the authors. The story of Adam and Eve is more of an explaination than a history.

If one adds up the dates in the Bible, earth would be about 6200 years old(+/- 300). Dinosaurs are assumed to be several hundred million years old. The oldest date that can be "confirmed" to date by science is about 5,500 years. All those "millions of years" are just guesses based on the assumed age of the geologic column. There are pictures of dinosaurs in caves and on pottery that are clearly identifiable by scientist. These"records" show both man and dinosaur. One would have to assume that if man was not here when these records were made that the dinosaurs drew all the pictures and made all the pottery. But the question would remain-"how did the dinosaurs know man would evolve millions of years later, and know what he would look like"? This one I can not figure out.

I think so.
Remember, in the Garden of Eden there was no death, therefore there was no meat-eating activity. It wasn't until the fall of man that people began killing animals and animals each other for food.
So, it is possible that dinosaurs lived with humans in the Garden and afterwards because there probably weren't very many people on the earth for a long time, and by the time there was a huge population explosion of humans after the flood, the dinosaurs were gone. So I believe that humans and dinosaurs lived on the earth at once, but perhaps they never interacted with one another because of the low human population and the dinosaurs may have lived on other parts of the world that humans had yet to inhabit.

ThHe bible doesn't use the word dinosaur, but it does talk about a lot of other animals. I believe that men and "dinosaurs" lived together. Back in the begining of time, the air had a lot more oxygen in it allowing animals to continue growing. I am not a scientist, so I am telling the basics. Dinosaurs were just reptiles that lived a long time and grew really big. You can look up these facts in more detail and more scientifically on the net. Basically though, yes they did live together, and you can find just as much evidence in this as any scientist believing they didn't live together can find. It just depends on if your going to put your trust in God and the Bible. You really should look creationism up, it is very very interesting and pretty simple to understand.

The word dinosaur wasn't coined until the early 1840's, so of course that specific word isn't in the Bible. But the word dragon is used quite a lot in scripture. I honestly can't answer the question as can no one else be a 100% sure but we can all make are educated guesses. The 7 day creation of the universe also shouldn't be taken literal, one day could possibly refer to millions of years.

I believe in evolution and the bible(yes, u can do that. Who says god didnt make animals evolve?) I belive the whole 7 days to create the universe was a metaphor. I think each day was many millions of years. So no, they never coexisited. God has to dumb things down for us humans to understand. Much of the bible is parable and Metaphor.( THere was never a good samaritan. It was a parable Jesus made to show us to love one another.
ps. People, Science and the Bible can get along.

Have you ever taken a look at where the majoriy of dinosaur fossils have been found? How about where the people lived in Bilbical times? The evidence for dinos in the middle east is very scarce.
