It is no ones place to judge or to decide whom is going to heaven or hell.

But anyone who has read the Bible would understand that what its saying is that God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

The creation of the Bible was for people to have guidance of what is right and wrong.
( 10 commandments)

Take the story of Solomon and Gomorrah, the city was destroyed by fire because of the sins of the inhabitants. Sins of the flesh (gay people ect ect) amongst other things. The Bible is making a point that its a no no..

In regards to the Atheists, the Bible says "all those who shall believe in Christ, shall not perish but have eternal life..no one comes to the Lord but through me." I think that makes a pretty clear statement.

The purpose of life in my opinion is to experience life.. we have been given a true blessing to live, and to choose ones master. Good or evil? One cannot have 2 masters.. one must decide.

I do not judge nor do I condemn ..I have friends who are non-Christians, and some who have only been to a church on my wedding. I do not preach but I let them decide how they choose to live. (Free will) They see the way I live and when they ask questions I will answer.

Jesus was a friend to sinners and hung out with the tax collectors of his day.

God forgives, ask and you'll be forgiven.. but one must realize.. To deny these commandments past down, and to change them to suit our fancy or life style.. doesn't change what is meant.

The Bible makes it pretty clear what God likes and doesn't, and to be in a relationship with him.. Like any other friend people have dislikes and likes... period.

The truth of the matter is,Its not what I think or what others in this
forum think. And to just (put the Bible on the shelf) is definately not
the answer.Reading and putting the truths in the Bible into your
way of life is.For instance look at (2Timothy3:1-5)If you are a seek-
er of truth you will read the Scriptures I cite here.If you are not and
have every thing figured out for yourself, then you wont.In any case
I will cite them anyway. At 1Cor.3:18,19 It tells us that mans wisdom
is as foolishness with God. At Matt.7:13,14,Jesus tells us that the
way (THE ROAD) leading to life is narrow and cramped, whereas
the road leading of to destruction is wide an spacious and many
will be the ones following it. At 1Cor.6:9,10 It tells us that people
who pratice homosexuality will not inherit Gods Kingdom. And you
are right about 1 thing God does decide who gets into heaven.
And as far as LOVE that you speak about I dont see much of that
in the world these days, like its quoted in (2Tim.3:1-5).So after all
is said and done,"The tongue of the wise ones does good with
knowledge, but the mouth of the stupid ones bubbles forth with
foolishness." (Proverbs.15:2)for more information on this please

How does one determine what is right and wrong? They must accept certain axioms as the logical basis for a moral system. The most popular moral system in the world is based on the axiom that the Bible is completely correct because it is the word of God who created the universe and therefore knows everything perfectly. Therefore, if the Bible says that something is wrong, than it must be wrong. If it is wrong, then someone who does it deserves to be punished.

Neither man or God made sin Satan is the father of sin. Facts are facts, and if you do want to accept the truth that all Atheists, active gays, and non Christians, also many who claim to be Christians are not going to Heaven that does not make it any less true. The Bible is full of facts, and a few stories , they are called parables. I love everyone, including men, but I have sex with my wife only and that is the way God intended it to be.

I can see that you have put your Bible on the shelf. I guess what you are saying is the way to live. correct!

Not for me. I want to live the way God wants us to. I make to many mistakes as it is. I trust the Bible for me.
I trust in Jesus.

Look at the atheist nations of the world. In my best DR Phil voice I like to say, "How's that working for them?"
Man left to himself is completely evil.
You are correct in saying God is the judge, we all sin and fall short of God's glory so we shouldn't judge. Yet, we as christians see the bible as God's inspired word. So this is why we use it.
And the bible is full of facts and is a work of antiquity. Anyone doing a true search can find out about this.

god is imaginary, and the bible is a collection of fictional stories. So you are correct, those who believe this imaginary being exists can make up anything they want to support their own prejudices.

For a good example of this, just look at some of the answers you have already received.

Without the Bible, how the heck can you know that? How would you even know what God does and does not consider a sin? lol sounds like you are trying to reconcile your own past sins by denying they exist!
