I don't really believe in that show "Crossing Over with John Edwards" but a long time ago I watched an episode and he told some people that there mother/grandmother was on the "other side" happily and she had the dog with her. And the people started freaking out crying. My dog died, I'd like to think he is in heaven.

I was wondering the same thing when my dog died 5 weeks ago. I am so sorry for your loss. its devastating to lose your best lil buddy.

I think God has to have a special place for animals..he created them, they DO NOT sin, they give unconditional love..so yeah, they are taken care of by God somehow. :)

My little black canine, Zelda, died six years ago. I used to be 24 when she died, and that i bought her on Christmas Day after I was once 12 years historic. So, I had literally spent half of of my life together with her. Instead of God and my loved ones, she was once closest to me. I adored her soooo a lot. I'm 30 now and have still no longer gotten over her death. I have been looking to reply this query myself for the six years when you consider that her death. I have no longer found any solutions within the Bible, and i have gotten solutions from Christians that did not make feel to me. Some Christians have even been so merciless as to tell me that Zelda was once only a dog, and there will in no way be puppies in Heaven. I've found that there is many problems that The Bible simply does not tackle, and that is one in every of them (moderately so). The Bible would not speak about life on different planets, but does that mean that there isn't a? We don't know. I simply take solace in HOPING that i'm going to see my little Zelda canine once I die and go to Heaven. I'm no longer going to understand for certain except then. Ugh, tears are welling up in my eyes as I type this. Despite the fact that I did not ask this query, I want to thank you all on your answers! :o)

I sincerely believe there is an Animal Heaven. Animals are loving, noble, loyal, look after their offspring even at danger to themselves. Better than a lot of people. I always say if my partner goes before me, and I get to Heaven and can't find him, I will go to the animal section where he will be helping those animals who have "crossed over" as he loves them so much.Your dog will be waiting for you one day, trust me, I am really sure of it. Cheers! :)

Actually dogs can't go to heaven because dogs have no souls, they are just a body, we like to think animals are similar to us, and their are when it comes to our bodies, but unlike animals we have a soul, what is your soul, you can say it's your conscious mind, do dogs have conscious minds, no, we know that for sure, so no mater what religion you practice I can surely say dongs don’t go to heaven. Actually animals are not to different from computers they are a very complex biological computer, they act on impulse which is actually a brain algorithm formed by chemicals and electrical impulses, theoretically humans are the same, but religiously we are also a soul witch is not part of this universe but manifests itself here through our bodies.

I heard someone say that it's in the Bible that all living creatures are together in Heaven. And I believe that. I think anything that lives has a soul of some kind, and will be in Heaven.

Well, if an animal isn't capable of sin, then they sure aren't going anywhere unpleasant. Unfortunately, Christianity is very heavily centred around humans and there's never really much said about animals.

I personally think that if God made the world with all these beautiful creatures--and many among them equally capable of love as men are--he'd have a nice place for them, too.

Dear Flo,

No, animals do not go to heaven when they die. They just go back to the elements from which they are composed.
