Some data worth considering:

93% of the National Academy of Sciences is Atheist

1% of the prison population is atheist.

On August 18, 2001, Dr. Younis Shaikh was sentenced to death in an Islam Court for teaching students that the Prophet Mohammad wasn't a Muslim until he invented the religion himself.

Ann Coulter said regarding Islamic countries, "we should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and conver them to Christianity"

Ronald Raegan's Secretary of the Interior said, "We don't have to protect the environment, the Second Coming is at hand."

Kinda spooky, isn't it?

Any speculation on how awesome it would be if atheists had their very own country? I hear Sweden is nice.

Without resorting to or quoting from any 'book' of your faith, (i.e. the Bible or the Qur'an) or suggesting that 'the evidence lies all around us, God created everything' and such nonsense.

Also, why is YOUR faith/God/belief in creation more viable than someone from another faith? What makes you right and them wrong?

Science tells us that all the stars and galaxies are moving in an outward direction...like when you drop a pebble in the water, there's an outward rippling motion. Only the universe is moving outward in all directions. This is evidence that it all began from one point. Most of us know the big bang theory, that extremely hot, condensed gases smaller than a pinhead exploded, forming the universe. While that fits with the motion and composition of the universe, from where did the gases originate?

I asked the following question and got several thumbs down. You find it offensive? Is it not a fair question? Let's be intellectually honest.

"How did the universe come into existence? All by itself? Without any cause?"

Time Magazine breaks it up into 4 different kinds of God. The include the "distant/poetic" (Einsteinian) God concept, but leave out atheism.

Why gives? Anyone?

My aunt and uncle were married for 20yrs, with no kids. My aunt is a christian, my uncle (her husband) died suddenly. He died suddenly on their porch sitting in a chair after working in the yard. The ambulance came and try to revive him on their living floor but he was already gone. My question is what can I say to keep encouraging her to keep her faith in God at this time? It has been a few weeks since this happened and she just wrote me saying she feels like Gods abandoned her. She is lonely and of course heart broken. She said she sees him laying on the floor in the living room and it haunts her. She believes she is falling in a deep depression. She knows the lord.......So I don't want her to get away from the lord because of the depression. She says she prays everyday for strength and to go on another day but.... What can I say to help? Plz I feel like she is falling apart and maybe away from god without him.

any psychic out there willing to spend some time with me (now would be good) and guide me to the answers I'm supposed to have as a result of psychic abilities. Desperately need to progress as quickly as possible - fear I may irrevocably lose my inner spirit.

Does the person lose touch with family, and spend a huge amount of time with the pastor and church? Are there some good books about this? I know someone whose life is really different since joining this church. The pastor is a self-proclaimed prophet who sees himself on par with Moses. Thanks for answering!

they affected by terminally ill condition and their life is at a stake or meet some traumatic situation in their life and seek God's help, pleading for God to get them out of life.... is it right? it is a normal phenomenon.

Some even with this condition they deny God or curse God for what happened to them without realising that they never seek God and finding thier own mistakes. To my knowledge many atheists confessed their mistake in dnying God before they die.

did any body observe this.
