If you are Atheist which you must be for asking such a question just don't let it bother you of course he didn't save anyone. Just like hundreds of other poor Jews he died on a cross at the hands of the Romans. It was just the slaughter of one more Jew. Merry Christmas. XX Betty.

We all know HOW he died. the question is WHY?
when Jesus' Father in heaven created Adam and Eve, He did not intend them to die at all. But to live forever. It is only when they disobeyed that death started.
Genesis 2; 16,17
And everyone since Adam and Eve have died eventually.
Because Adam was a perfect man, and lost us EVERLASTING LIFE on the earth, it would take another PERFECT MAN to get it back for us. No ordinary man could because we have all inherited sin and death from Adam. So God in His wisdom and love, supplied to us His only son to 'buy back' the legal right to no longer die.
Just like God's promise at Revelation 21;4
Even though it was 2,000 years ago, a long time to us, Jesus' life PAID the price, and at Armageddon, when wickedness is removed from the earth, we will again be free of having to die. Basically, God has rectified the situation and we are again going to live as God planned. Whatever we do, He will fix up. But only if we are obedient.
Revelation 21;4
Even if we die before Armageddon, we will be resurrected so we can live AGAIN on the earth.
Psalm 37; 9,11,29,34
Have a read of the scriptures.

Most of us think we are pretty good people until we hold up the mirror of the 10 Commandments. If you have ever told a lie, you are a liar. If you have ever had a lustful thought about another person, you are an adulterer at heart. If you have ever used the holy name of God as a curse word, you are a blasphemer. Not just you; all of us. The Bible says that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
God cannot tolerate sin. The only way we could be reconciled with God is through the blood of Jesus Christ. He took the punishment that should have been ours. God loved us enough to do that, and all we have to do is believe it and put our faith in Jesus Christ.
His perfect plan of salvation is so simple, so beautiful, and so profound. God bless you for asking.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Peter I 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The Bible states that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin! Christ s' blood was shed as an atonement for the sin of the world and The Lord declares that if you will accept that shed blood as an atonement for your sin, then the Lord declares you to be forgiven, saved and passed from death into life i.e. you now have eternal life given as a free gift! Believe now and receive the free gift.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were responsible for mankind's "original" sin, which doomed every future generation to "nothingness". Through the birth and death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, mankind could be forgiven their transgressions through Christ.
We are all descendants of Adam and Eve, the original sinners; therefore, we are all born as sinners; redeemed only through Jesus Christ. Does this mean that babies or young children who die are "going to hell"? NO! Babies and children who have no concept of transgression, have no need to be forgiven.
A person who has reached the age of knowledge of "right and wrong" will be held accountable for their actions, and these are the people Christ died for. Our responsibility is to promote love, understanding, and tolerance among all nations, just as Jesus did. Not an easy undertaking is it?

Christ came to this wreched old earth with one purpose: To sacrifice himself for all mankind. Christ lived the perfect life absent of sin. Before Christ died for our sins, satan had control. His blood was poured out for us. When Jesus died, he went to death in Hell and took the keys of death away from Satan. There are many arguments as to where Jesus was for the full three days of his death, though. However, the Bible tells us that there is no greater love than a man to lay down his life for his friends. His death saved us, because had He sinned he wouldn't have been pure. However, when He died, he took all of our pain, our sickness, our sins, and our shame with Him. As I have already said, He took the keys of death from Satan, so we could all have the chance to go to heaven.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
You can only be saved by believing in Allah and his Prophet and following his laws. Read the Quran with a clear mind and Inshallah you will be saved.
I do not wish to dwell on it, should it hurt the feeling of the Christian, but let it be clear that Christanity is the greatest hoax and falacy of all time and history.
Jesus never said that he has come to create a new religion

the bible says that "the wages of sin is death" ( i can get the scripture for you if you like, mail me.) If someone sins, or transgresses the law of God, death is the just recompense of that sin. the problem with this is if you die for your own sins, you are dead. and this death does not mean passing from this life, it is talking about internal death, Hell.
this is where God comes into it. You see, the blood of lambs and goats is only a temporary cover up. God knew that he is the only one that could die for our sins, this is because he has no sin. Because we sin, and the bible is clear that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we must die. But God decided that "mine own arm shall bring forth salvation". God did not have to die for us. and he did not have to die for himself. but he knew that because of our sin, death had to be paid. he loved us enough that he chose to die for our sin. God paid the price for our sin. he paid our debt which we could not pay ourselves and live. he died on the cross to take our place, and he rose 3 days later with the power of death hell and the grave in his hand.
because God himself paid the price of our death, we do not have to die. all we have to do is accept his forgiveness and follow his way. this way is in acts 2 and 38, we must be repentant for our sins, we must be baptized, which symbolizes being covered by his blood, and we shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is the spirit of God himself dwelling in our own body. this is what gives us the power to live right and escape the destruction of this world.
hope this helps
