they affected by terminally ill condition and their life is at a stake or meet some traumatic situation in their life and seek God's help, pleading for God to get them out of life.... is it right? it is a normal phenomenon.

Some even with this condition they deny God or curse God for what happened to them without realising that they never seek God and finding thier own mistakes. To my knowledge many atheists confessed their mistake in dnying God before they die.

did any body observe this.

This is a very common occurrence. Like another said, "There are no atheists in foxholes." and this is true. If you know your destiny, which no one does, it's easy to do this. The problem is, until someone thinks they might die, God is in the picture suddenly. God is love and He loves His creation, no matter what. After the birth of His Son, we all have a very simple way to seek forgiveness through Jesus. It's a good thing He does this or many of us would still be on the wrong side of the fence, including myself. So many good things have happened to me though since I've been witnessing for God. For some reason, some think it's a sign of weakness to believe or accept God into their lives. We will be judged by our actions here on earth and even though He does not want to hear about our sins. He's been so very good to myself and my wife I could write a book. The point is though, it doesn't matter if He is good to me or not, I would still love Him and follow Him and naturally He knows this. I do love God so very much. I try so hard to tell others about Him here on this site, yet it's so very hard sometimes.

People selectevly read the bible and only take the parts that apply to them. This can be observed when you ask questions like: "If god is love, then why does he kill so ofted?"

You will find that those that answer that question will use cyclical logic. That is, they use the definition that God is Love as the answer.

Where did you here that?? I have always heard the old saying "there's no atheists in the foxholes" before referring to war and the fear of death but I really don't believe it.. People who are nonbelievers use reason and rational thought to slalom the curves of life, where Christians hold to the bible as their anchor at the sea of life.. I don't see death as anything more than the end of life to an atheist... They do not believe in eternal life so why would they repent at all on their death bed??? Makes no sense to me

I did once see a preacher give a funeral for an Atheist and for the benefit of the mans wife he lied and said the Atheist had accepted Jesus. You Christians just can't bare it that we don't repent at the eleventh hour can you?
Merry Christmas XX Betty.

It happens all the time.
The moment something bad happens to someone, they cry out for Jesus or God. I've seen ppl hit their knees in prayer without a thought because of some crisis that has befallen them.
I just hope that ppl realize that in order for God to be there in the bad times, that He has to be there in the good times, too!

Sure, people probably do this out of helplessness and fear, but that doesn't have any affect as to the veracity of the God hypothesis. People also take homeopathic medicines hoping to be cured. Our instinct of self-preservation is so strong that we will turn to anything when we face death.
