Out of all the previous answers, not one bothered to go to the 'handbook' on these matters.
Firstly, (2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17Â that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
THEN;
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
SHE'OL is man's grave.
Now if this is wrong [ which it is NOT] the first scripture is a lie [ and it is NOT]

For a while my soul will DE-acclimatized all activities related to physical or material( not to worry about food, credit, career, family, sex etc). Inexplicably followed by a sensation of joy and peace that I actually survived death. I will rediscover all my latent abilities as a soul. For instance to be in a place in an instant whatever I choose by just simply thinking about it. Finally, knowing that I have no more business staying on the material plane I would be easily enticed to let go of my soul( second death) and surrender my spirit to God( the light at the end of the tunnel) and experience a higher state of awareness, reconnected and become the recipient of the love and compassion of the spiritual world.

Death is unavoidable. It is a fact of life. We live and die one day.
Death is also unpredictable. Recently, quiet of numbers of healthy child and adults died in their sleep in my country. Investigation is still being carried out.
If you asked me what will happen to me when I die, If I have to die now, I then I will be transformed (Translate) to another realm of existence. Hell and Heaven that depends on my last dying thoughts.
Meanwhile, I try my best to live a meaningful and rich life.
My personal philosopy is to help others as much as I can to the best of my abilities.
I do not kill, steal, adultery, bad-mouth,harsh words, drugs, alcohol and hurt others. I believe the laws of universe. Whatever you give out , will come back to you eventually.
I am not religious but I find very good experiences in meditation.
I find true inner happiness here

Death is final. Heaven, aka: Paradise and Hell is the creation of the religion business. Psychiatrists say that people feel better when they think that they get a second chance to live again. So religion sells the belief (no proof) in a second chance at life for $3 billion a year in donations. It's a very lucrative business.

I believe that I'll reborn to a new life, whether as a human again, as an animal, a devil, an angel, a Deva. What will my next life will depend on my karma i have in this present and previous life.

I believe that my conscientiousness will end and my body will cease to function and ultimately decay. That's a rather reasonable thing to believe, isn't it.? ... And guess what, it's possibly one of the only truly factual responses you'll fine here. Perhaps we ought to all begin to believe it.

decomposition
then the worms will eat me
and in turn eat my soul
and then i will have control of that worm
but if you get too many souls in that worm,
it will explode, and then the souls just sit there for eternity
THE END

my conscious existence will cease to exist as soon as my brain stops functioning, and my body will decompose.
i don't think there's rebirth. one life is enough.
i don't believe in heaven, and earth is the real hell.
