There are differences among Christians in their beliefs. Some interpret the Bible literally, they believe that everything in the Bible actually occured. Others believe that the "stories" in the Bible need to be understood in the context of the cultures and worldviews of the people who wrote them. Some say the Bible is truth, others say it contains the truth. When you consider where different Christian denominations stand on different issues, they don't look like they are part of the same religion. The Amish prayed for the man who recently murdered those little girls. They prayed with the murder's family. There are other Christians who would have thanked God that the policed were able to kill him.

The christian fundies would like you to believe it's the only religion. They question and harass anyone not of their belief when they post differing viewpointshere. And they're the most vocal. Look harder and you'll find questions about the other more worthy religions.

Yes. Muslims show up fairly frequently. Particular sects of Christianity (e.g., Mormons) show up also. There are probably Buddhists and Hindus, too, but if so they are less obvious. And, of course, atheists and agnostics (like me) are well represented.

Islam, Atheism, Agnosticsm, Mormons, FSM.
If you ACTUALLY ask a legitimate Hindu or Buddhist question they will speak up and answer you, the rest of the time they are just probably having a good time reading all the posts.

I like my religion - the one where I don't have to worship anyone or anything, and I can believe whatever I want.
I'm not sure what to call it though... maybe, common sense?

We're here, we just aren't as vocal--I follow a neo-pagan path.
