Be writhing in hell by now? I was reading the pentauch the other day at service and saw that everything that we do today was condemnable by death. No using name of God in vain, no eating any creature that doesnt chew the cud..., no eating of clawed creatures(no turkeys ppl), ritual cleanliness after childbirth...(why is it that a woman can return to temple a week after a son but two weeks for a girl?) and a woman is unclean during her period and should remain home and away from men? We would all be stoned now wouldn't we? So based on this why do we judge others, Ye that is without sin shall cast the first stone?

I would like you to either prove eternal damnation or denounce it no matter what religion you belong to. I would like you to separate the functional beliefs of your religion from the unproven....or basically lies. Isn't it time we humans take charge of religion? Isn't there too much at stake here to rely on the judgements of the traditional leaders who robotically taught us our hate?

Dying for your beliefs makes you a martyr and gives you a place in Heaven. What about if you allow someone else to die because of your beliefs? What does that make you?

I think it would make sense for Keith Ellison, the newly elected Muslim Representative from Minnesota, to swear on the Koran. He takes the Koran more seriously than the Bible. I would hope the Bible would be optional if, one day, an atheist or Pagan gets elected, too.

Dennis Prager disagrees with me, vehemently:

What do y'all think of Keith Ellison's insistence on using the Koran?

throughout my life I've always had a question about the christian's god's teaching of equality and free will. It all sounded nice but I relized no one really followes it so it is like hypocracy in the sence of saying to respect one person's wishes to live how they want to and belive in what they choose. Say they choose to be Pagan or Wiccan, then he turns turn around and says that because they don't believe in the christian's god then they are evil and forever condemed. How can you explain?

A certain Chinese author interprets that the Chinese character on God 'shen' shows that he is standing by the side of two entwine persons in sex position. Christians believe that God is omnipresent. This sort of encourages me to think about the intimacy of God and human being to the extent that even he is present when a couple is having sex. So far counsellors on marriage may not have put such fact so crudely as much as I have done here. But I need to gather this answer for a book which suggests that is how the Chinese character on God is formed or created. Chinese character very often is constructed as a picture in abstract form. If Christians believe that presence is possible then my book in highlighting that will then be acceptable. I would like to express my great appreciation for your answers.

Those of you who are not believers in Jesus Christ- Do you at all see anything in any christian on here that you respect or like? I know many have come here in the wrong approach- but are there any christians you have seen that you believe do really care about others? And for those of you who are saved- do you truly come here to share the word of God with others because you do care? And not come here to judge and condemn but share the love of Christ?

Their intelligence is beyond our comprehension they look nothing like us. Would that make you question your belief system and how would you resolve some of the question, like God created us in his image and the possibility that we might be just one of billions of life forms throughout the universe. Would you accept this or would you simply reject it because it would contridict your belief system, would it make you angry or would you be pleased to realize that we are not alone. Looking for some thoughtful response.

If it was proven that God, Satan, heaven and hell do not exist? I mean this hypothetically. Would you think that there was no such thing as right and wrong and start acting like the main character in Grand Theft Auto? I ask this because some of you have asserted that there is no such thing as right and wrong without God. Somehow I don't think you all would really start raping and pillaging en masse...

And please, no "But God has to exist! I have proof..." or "God can't be disproved because.." This is a *hypothetical* situation.
