Is it beautiful? Is a rainbow beautiful, or is it the rarity? Is a diamond beautiful? Would it be as beautiful if you found them scattered all over the planet in the same proportion you find granite?
Is it less beautiful to watch a lioness run across a savannah and sink her claws into an antelope and tear its throat out in a fan of blood because it is bloody, painful, or not so uncommon?
What then is beauty? Many of the best art critics in the world find the Mona Lisa to be the epitomy of painting -- others consider it garbage not fit for wiping one's backside with. I happen to agree with the latter -- I've seen it in person, i've stood less than six feet from it, it's hideous.
Some prefer melody, some prefer amelody. Is one mathematically more perfect? Is the other more chaotically perfect? Is math or chaos beautiful then?
Does beauty then lie not in the object but in ourselves? Is it what we ourselves appreciate based on our experiences during exposure? All the times I was exposed to the Mona Lisa, I was either bored or in pain; I was a young child when I saw it in person and the Louvre is a large facility, my feet were sore, and later exposures were in 'art appreciation' classes which I hated. All the times I've seen a rainbow, the weather has been recently rainy, my favorite type of weather.
Beauty is the awareness of familiarity or rarity, and, pleasure. It is what evokes us, moves us, conspires in our own mind against us and in the end makes us feel wholely inadequate and makes us feel whole anyways.
Beauty is seeing without ourselves what we see within ourselves.

You have asked as beautiful a question as the description of the nature in it. The shape, proportion, combination and the vibrant colors initiate a wonderful sensation in our minds and give an eternal pleasure to our souls and eyes.
We do not find many such meaningful questions in this site.
Yes, the nature is extremely beautiful… writers and poets tried to describe its grandeur in their creative works… however it is not that easy to transform beauty in a language.
However, very few people recognize this beauty and a majority of them just looks at it in a usual manner and do not find a difference between flora and fauna and rough rocky terrains.
One needs to be a kindhearted thoughtful person for resolving the beauty of Mother Nature.

And Who created nature??? What a beautiful day that God, in His wonderful mercy, has given us! He has true power because He could remove the sun, stars, flowers, trees, grass because we do not deserve such beauty, and yet faithfully every day, He allows His goodness to shine through to an unbelieving, hate-filled, sinful world. Thank You Lord, for Your wonderful mercy towards us, your creation.

my dear friend there are things which are more beautiful than nature. but for seeing those beautiful things you need to create energy or power or ability in your eyes.life moves stepwise. firstly a born baby learns some worlds, then education, then marriage, childrens , their education, marriage then prepare to die.there are so many things to see more. in all these stages people see the nature which is seen outside from the eyes. God made the nature so beautiful SO THAT HE CAN TEST YOU WHEATHER YOU ARE PREPARE FOR THE NEXT STEP OR YOU CAN NOT THINK BEYOND THE BEAUTY OF NATURE.thinking beyond the beauty of nature is definetely a tough task. because these things can not be seen by these normal eyes. it means God says you need to develop the energy in your eyes to see more beautiful things.as a teacher enjoys if he makes a question paper which can enhance the talent of the students in the same way God enjoys by making more and more beautiful things to take the test of the living things.

Colours are beatiful because they attract us. Colour vision was a valuable adaptation because it allowed us to tell when fruit were ripe, we also had to have an emotional feeling associated with it to make us want fruit of this colour. Water is beatuful because we need it to drink. Wonder why clear water is more beautiful than murky water? Flowers are colourful and signify warm weather, as the blossoms mark spring.

I think that it is because they naturally exist. we build the worked we exist in out of boxes and metal and blocks and enhance our lives with man made objects that are pale in comparison to the beauty of earth as it reveals itself to us.It is a gift from God and a reward for all of us. Life can be difficult, those of us who stop for a minute and observe reap the bounty of our beautiful earth. a little bird just landed on a branch near my window I am going out to buy a bird feeder.

The Grand Creator did not have to make our food taste good to sustain us, He did not have to make our eyes see color to see where were going. He did not make flowers smell goo do make them do thier job. Why did God do so? Because he loves us and care for us he wanted the best for us just as a father wants the best for his children.

it looks beautiful because it fills our minds with aww of a greater power. we can see just by looking at it that there is something very powerful and unique.
also it is out of the ordinary for us in urban society to see these things so it is like culture shock
