While Jimmy may not be a direct FSM prophet he does have pirate blood that runs through him. There was a Buffett on the mutiny on the Bounty (if the mutiny did exist; it may be disproved as an anti-FSM conspiracy).
We know that Jimmy is also a Pirate and has been since he was forty. Proof in the song, A Pirate Looks at Forty. he was able to survive and maintain his piratehood too, despite a conservative upbringing in Catholicism.
