This is preferably for people who are scientologists:

What are gender roles like in scientology (what are men/women expected to do)?

What is your opinion on abortion?

Do you face persecution because of your beliefs?

Has the celebrity effect hurt or helped your view of scientology? (ie are your for or against the recent celebrity scientology has acquired?)

Also if you would rather send me an email through yahoo questions in which you would like to be represented in interview format please feel free to do so, as it is preferred.

If you choose, please leave your age/education level/gender/etc, as this is for educational purposes, and any data helps

Thanks

I want to buy a book as a gift for a 13 year old girl that emphasises Biblical principles of chastity and purity. Some that I've seen: Authentic Beauty by Ludy, Every Young Woman's Battle by Ethridge, Apples of Gold by Samson. Can any one tell me more about these, or recommend others to me?

I want one that is based on BIBLICAL principles, not just one about having boyfriend and doing everything short of having sex.

He preached repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name for the remission of sin, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost as the plan of salvation. This was the first message to the New Testament church. Three thousand people were baptized that day. Now everyone here is saying that Peter was wrong. Perhaps Jesus Christ was in error when He gave him the keys to the kingdom?

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Isaiah 30:26 (A reference to the light of heaven) 'Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the sun and the light of the sun shall be seven fold (49) as the light of seven days. Therefore heaven recieves 50 times the radiation from the sun as we do. using Stefan-Boltzman fourth power law for radiation the temperature of Heaven is calculated as 525 degrees C. Hell is made, as we all know, of fire and brimstone. Brimstone (Sulpher) liquifies at 444 degrees C. You want to go to heaven? Why??????

Light is radiation if God created the Universe this is a constant truth everywhere

But when I post like 30 of them, everyone says I'm just too dumb to see that they're not really inconsistancies, just a failure on my part to fully understand?

I believe that when Jesus talked about heaven, he was talking about how good people generally had a happier life, so they could "rest in peace". Whereas those who commit crimes get punished and suffer throughout their lives (hell). I think heaven and hell takes place during the lifetime, not after.

The Parable of the Lost Coin
Or what woman having ten coins and losing one would not light a lamp and sweep the house, searching carefully until she finds it? And when she does find it, she calls together her friends and neighbors and says to them, 'Rejoice with me because I have found one coin that I lost' In the same way, I tell you, there will be rejoicing amoung the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
