we are the lost coin. We are lost until we find Jesus. God is the one looking for the Lost coin. When we repent of all our sins and come back to him it means that we are found.. the lost coin made it back to its owner... God rejoices when we repent of our sins, we dont do it again.

In this parable it reveals that there are some that are lost and they are in the house, in the other words, there are people who attend church, some Sunday after Sunday, but have yet to born again through the gift of the Holy Spirit, therefore they are still lost, for without the new birth, which is spiritually and must take place, salvation has not be given. As far as the statement concerning rejoicing the Bible makes it known that even the angels in heaven rejoice when one is born again.

I should think the meaning is obvious, as the answer is given at the end. This symbolizes how God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the World to seek and to save the lost. It also symbolizes the fact that God loves each one of us so much that He would've done the exact same thing even if we/you were the only person on Earth. There is great joy in heaven when a sinner repents and is born again. This is because the angels know how ugly sin is, the future of the unrepentant and the fact that Satan has lost another battle in his war to win souls for eternal damnation.

The meaning of the parable is that just as the woman would rejoice over her one lost coin, so, too, would there be rejoicing in heaven over one repentant sinner.

It is the same as the parable of the Lost Sheep. God is waiting for that one last person to be saved, until He returns- and when that happens, there will be much rejoicing in Heaven. Just as the last line says- there is more rejoicing over one sinner that repents then over many righteous persons....God does not leave his sheep behind- He has a number of sheep, he knows who are His and who follows Him- and until that one last person is saved- then He will return- that is why the scripture you see "He wills that none should perish" that is speaking of His sheep- to believers.
Matthew 18:12
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?
-This verse to speaking of someone who was back slidden- as it is called- like the prodigal son- read that story too. Those who are saved in Christ are sealed- you cannot lose your salvation in Him. And God NEVER forsakes His children.

That is easy dear the lost coin is you and I, When we come to Christ and repent of our sins and take him as our Lord and savior, then that is when we are found. We where lost be now we are found.
When you and I lose something that is precious to us we go out of our way to find it we will turn the house up side down until we find it and then when we do find sometime we tell all then neighbors and friend rejoice with me for I have found that pericous jewel which was lost but now it is found and is safe now.

if everybody in the world turned their lives to God and repented except one, God would still seek that lost soul because it's just as precious as all of the saved souls because that lost soul would cause Him pain if that soul had to be condemned to hell as its punishment because they rejected Him. so every time somebody repents all of Heaven rejoices because that is like that one lost coin that has been found, they have eternal life now and have made God's heart rejoice

If someone looses a valuable coin (money). They will search for it without ceasing. And if they find it, they will be so happy they will throw a party. Well God is like that-all His people (all humans) are lost. He is constantly looking for them. When He finds one-all of heaven has a big party. There is so much happiness when just one person turns to God and trust Him.
