If Luther had God's Authority simply because he was a Christian (and a Catholic Christian at that), then EVERY Christian also has the authority to change the Canon and/or the words of the Bible.

If Luther did not have the God's Authority, then his changes to the Old Testament Canon (by his rejection of the Deuterocanonical books) was un-authorized and therefore an invalid change.

So did Luther have God's Authority or not? Which is it???


NOTE: I know many will simply use this as another opportunity to attack the Catholic Church and avoid the question. If you HAVE TO spew hatred towards the Catholic Church... at least answer the question.

all nite i was in between sleep and wake..you know you do not sleep so well.

in the AM i heard a voice from somebody in my past. He is somebody i really cared for but he hurt me alot; i am not in touch with him.. he told me:

"We are friends, right? Stand tall; be strong !"

What does this mean; does he want to say this to me; or is it just me?

They support the woman's right to choose, and we humans and unborn humans are of the animal kingdom. And I believe God works through science/and/or evolution.

I am a athiest and just wanted to know the difference between these two religions. I know they are very similiar but there has to be some difference otherwise they wouldn't have two seperate names.
