all nite i was in between sleep and wake..you know you do not sleep so well.

in the AM i heard a voice from somebody in my past. He is somebody i really cared for but he hurt me alot; i am not in touch with him.. he told me:

"We are friends, right? Stand tall; be strong !"

What does this mean; does he want to say this to me; or is it just me?

Thanks

If you believe it to be him, either he past away, or he feels bad for the way he treated you, and feels your pain perhaps the way you felt at the time, and when your sleeping your Spirit sensory is stronger because your body is asleep, so perhaps your Spirit sense what his Spirit was feeling.

Your dreams are the product of YOUR mind. The only way his desires can enter into your dreams is by you remembering something he said, or your own emotions creating the statement as if it were his. That doesn't necessarily mean that you want him to say these things, it just means that your mind has worked it out that way. This is the same as when you dream that you're falling, or running around naked. You don't want to fall, or to be embarrassed, but your mind creates the scenarios anyway.

Some dreams are framed in very moving or emotional ways, but I think you'll find that as a whole they never represent reality very directly - and sometimes not at all.

What I do think is that the mind uses dreaming as a way to establish emotional routes AROUND problems. It's almost like it's debugging itself - trying new connections and ideas to resolve conflict or discomfort. And the result is often dreams that are only obliquely related to reality. That's why sometimes you wake up after a dream that was so incoherent you cant even piece it back together after you're awake.

Anyway, it is you, and that's fine.

Maybe he is thinking of you and somehow you two connected with your thoughts. Get in touch with him and see if he has been wanting to talk to you. Or it could be you just thinking about him a lot and your mind said this.

i think it probably because you've thought about it alot. according to what you mean by hurt . you probably shouldn't contact him . its good to forgive butt that doesn't mean you should let yourself be run over by someone who doesn't respect you.a friend is some one who would not want to hurt you.
