OK this question is going to seem mean but I really think there's truth to it.

Christians who constantly profess their love for Jesus (even during everyday conversation); It seems to me they're compensating. You wouldn't constantly proclaim your love for your parents, children, job, etc as you do with your faith.

Of couse they claim its because they love him so much, but how often do they shout out, "Praise my parents!" or "With my children's love!"

Does it seem a little phony for some christians to constantly proclaim their love for Jesus? Yes or No?

God (the creator of the universe and everything in it) loves you--so much that He sent His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for all the bad things that you have done. Jesus died for you--to save you. And because He had never done anything wrong, He rose from the dead. Because of what He did, we are forgiven...of EVERYTHING!!!

I am not saying that we will not have trouble in this world, because we will. This is earth, it is imperfect, but Heaven is perfect. No one dies or is even sick!

All you have to do is remember "CBA:" Confess, Believe, and Admit.

Confess your need for Jesus
Believe in Jesus--that He died on the cross for your sins (wrong/immoral things to do)
Admit your wrongdoings (sins)

conception is true then there is not one particle of Josephs dna in Jesus so what is the point of proving that Joseph is of the House of David? Jesus couldn't have had that genetic line.

I hear the reasons. Yes, it is unfair. This countrie has developed a character that does not give all equal rights and freedoms. Laws are being based on religious beliefs, forcing you to observe them. You must see the word "God" against your will.
What can you do, without starting a war? This is what this nation has become. My only understanding of a nation growing without religion as a factor in its government, is within communist nations. I lived in them for many years. I was horrified at what people would do and accept, if only a law held them accountable, and not a spiritual morality/mortaility.
There is no respect for others in certain areas. I can't blame the people. I have been treated like royalty in so many places, only because I was from the outside, yet, they felt no shame in stealing, mutilating children for begging, treating orphans as cattle, because it was boring work. Imagine, 50 children being put in a cement room, a big drain and a hose used to spray them off.

So many people out there believe in God, but is it belief? I belive im sitting at a desk and i belive im typing on a computer because i see and feel that experience. Thats belief, so how can someone be able to believe in something they cant, see, hear, feel. God gave us our senses so we could understand and believe our enviroment, but did he give us a sixth sence to believe in him? I dont have it but Id like to. I see alot of things in the world that I find hard to believe god would allow to happen. the usual awnser is that the devil is the cause of the bad stuff but i was brought up to believe that god was all powerful and the devil was just a fallen angel anyhow. I dont see why some people are so blessed and others are so cursed, if there is a god why make innocent childeren starve or let others be abused? Those who are convinced that god is real and good please then awnser me how you know this other than just convincing yourself. Did he awnser your prayers and if so how?

I think crosses are so beautiful and mysterious. I always thougth that they were some type of status symbol. I was given a very fancy rosary on the day of my baptism. It had ruby beads and a gold cross.

The book of Genesis specifically explains that God created all the animals in the sea and air and land in different days. That proves against evolution biblically. Now scientifically...

1) Where has macroevolution ever been observed? If an animal's leg evolved into a wing, wouldn't it become a bad leg before it became a good wing? What about the arm, and the face, and the digestive track?

2) If macroevolution happened, where are the billions of transitional fossils? There's not just a "missing link" There's billions!

3) How could the first living cell begin? It's still gotta be happening if there's still stages before us.

4) Which came first: DNA, or the proteins needed by DNA, which can only be produced by DNA?

5) The most updated science is discovering again and again that the univers is young.

Don't get macroevolution (From monkey to human) confused with the proven theory, microevolution (From "Dog" to golden retriever, German Shepard, and the terrier, etc.)

Yes, I am African American. That doesn't mean I can't be a happy atheist! :) Almost every tragic event in history can be partially blamed on religion (9/11, holocaust, George W. Bush's election, etc.) But I believe that people don't have to believe in what others believe. If they don't, then they don't! So what! I still donate to charities! I plan to adopt children someday! No prob.

Love,

Jamie.
