Okay, You might think i'm dumb, but anywho, her goes it...What do you wear when swimming? Do you have to wear a skirt/dress only out in public?, Can you wear whatever you want around immediate family?, Thanks!

I were a tankini, (its like a bikini but the top is longer)

It's not a dumb question, if your heart doesn't condemn you...

Also modesty is not only about dress but action. (Cause the theory is not to be a stumbling block for boys and their lust.)

However then we also do not take the responsibility away from them for being lustful.

My general rule of thumb is, if your showing a little bit of clevage, you don't wear a mini skirt and belly top. If your wearing a short skirt, no clevage, or bellytop...

I grew up Apostolic--which is extreme Pentecost--and my family members still are. They wear all of their clothes all the time. I have not seen my grandma's elbows! They swim in all of their clothes and the boys and girls are not allowed to swim with each other. I heard once that my aunt put pants on to clean house and she got in big trouble at church the next Sunday!! Plus--No tv, no make-up, no secular music, no haircuts, and no jewelry!

I was Assemblies of God, which is sort of modified Pentecostal. I grew up being told to wear swimsuits that "you wouldn't be ashamed to have Jesus see you in." Meaning one-pieces only, not too high cut up the leg or low cut down the chest, and use the cover-up as often as possible. I thought that was funny, 'cause we were told God was everywhere, so wouldn't he have seen us in the bathtub...?
