These are quotes from Christians that I copied from this site

"God forgive me through the blood of Jesus Christ. I repent of my sin and turn away from it. Help me to not do it anymore"

"I can't do anything on my own about stopping sin"

"its sin nature to do evil, and no we cant stop sinning on our own"

"with the help of God's grace, man is called to live a good life in spite of all temptations in the world."

Note: It's obvious that Atheists have more self confidence than christians

Atheists dont need an skydaddy to help us behave. We're ADULTS

After analizing the world situation, political scientist made up a list on how to solve mankind problems; this is what they came up with:
"We need a RADICAL change socially, politically, economically, religiously, etc... And they added, 'we all agree that the solution is a benevolent dictator rulership

Could you think of any human that would fit the description?
or Are they talking about our Creator God?

Your opinion please.
If you do not want to answer seriously, refrain. Thank you.

There are many Churches today who are in error and have departed from the truth. What will happen to to them and their followers if they don't have the truth as error can't save any one??

I would like to know how everything 'goes' in a for example, a Baptist church or Presbyterian church. Anything, just Christianity. Please explain in detail like the schedule, time, what you talk about, etc. Thx for all your help!

Just to clarify, im speaking of the great tribulation period that is to happen when the anti-christ reigns.
When there are christians being persecuted and killed everyday for their belief in third world countries. If they going through now, why don't you think you won't have to? What makes you so special?

The amount of personal attacks, threats, and unnessecary violation reports in this section have blown me away. It seems that if someone posts a view that doesn't mesh well with one's own personal religious beliefs they are opening themselves up to scorn.

Religion should be aproached with an open mind. I myself, being an atheist, am still open minded to the possibility of there being some god... the problem is there hasn't ever been any good evidence provided, and what we actually do know about the world seems very contradictory to any religious view.

Why is it that merely questioning someone's religious beliefs is sometimes just as bad as calling them names because of their race or medical conditions? Religion is a choice you've made, it's not something you are born with. It's almost like recieving a death threat for saying "chocolate ice cream is the best and everyone else is wrong."

Why do people believe in Jesus?

The only fact of you people thinking he's actually real is you people seeing him in your mind, at church, or praying and it that wish comes true.

Prove that he is real.
And don't use the bible to prove that he is real.

I don't see Jesus.

for an example..
You can't see the "Brain".
But!, us humans have seen and holded it outside the skull.

You people who say go to church and god will love you forever are fucin retards.

are mosques in the US the same as those in the Middle East? is everything similar in terms of worship (women must be coverd up, etc)? do non-arabs women also cover up? Feel free to cover stuff I've missed. I am doing mosques for my English subculture paper and this is for my outline.

Hello-if you have teachings-and stuff-but you never experienced personally coming to know a person-then really you just are saying you believe what papers or people say-say someone said they could fly-but you never saw them fly-at best you could say maybe yes maybe no.

If Moses wrote about "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to make atonement for your souls." Leviticus 17:11
maybe that is true but if it is -with no temple you have no atonement let alone a personal God -unless you believe Isaiah who predicted 700bce about Messiah and atonement

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will be exalted. First he will be marred more than any man. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life to make ATONEMENT for our sins."

yet even if you believe that -at best maybe its true maybe it isnt-maybe Moses and Isaiah lied-you cant be absolutly sure unless you personally come to know this Messiah.

I have he is my good shepherd as david said and John 10 says too!
