I don't think he's trying to put Christians down, I think he's saying that you need to realize that your strength comes from within you and to give yourself a little credit.
There can be two people of the same belief system/religion and one is able to do the right thing, and the other just doesn't have the willpower or the strength to do what they feel they need to do. Why is that? It's the same God. The difference is the person.
There are also people that subscribe to no religion in particular, some that are agnostics, and some that are athiest that also manage to do good deeds, respect their fellow human being, and overcome obstacles. Why is that? They are strong and have learned to endure and lead productive lives.
So basically, if you have been able to give up whatever you felt you needed to, and you have been able to do positive things, and treat others the way you want to be treated, why can't you realize that it was YOU who had the strength to do it and not some outside power -- whether or not you are a Christian.

the answer to this is simple, I'm not angry that you would be not excepting God, I used to be atheist, myself. What you need to know is that God is not a tyrant! He is a method of control. See from where I stand God is a method of being strong minded. Most christians do not use this powerful force that they are given, God is the true face of love and therefore, what true christians see as God is a place to draw strength. Believe me God exist and if you draw too much strength from yourself, you'll start believing that you are more than you are! The Bible says God moves through people, meaning through love. He could use you if you'll let him! The Bible also says that if faith without works is dead, which means that if you believe something will happen and you don't put out something for it, then it won't happen. Meaning that the strength does come from you just that when you run out, God will give you more!

Friend that is the reason many of you athesits comes on this site, is to see how us Christians are acting so you can try to copy cat us, You might want to call him a sky daddy, But to us Christians, HE is GOD, God gave me the common sense that many of you atheists lack in your everyday thinking, No you don't need a sky daddy, you can only have one Father, Therefore yours is a Ground daddy(hell) Now why don't you go look for your daddy, when we look for ours we look up, when you look for yours you look down. And the reason you look down is, that is the lowest point you can go.

Atheists are fools. I didn't say that first, God did. Being an adult doesn't mean being right. Hilter was an adult for crying out loud. And a Christian isn't lacking self-confidence when they say they live by God's grace. They are acknowleging their limitations unlike the foolish arrogant atheists who feel confident enough to make the biggest mistake of all. ( You asked.)

Nobody comes to God but those called by the Holy Spirit. When He gets hold of you, you will see the light and make a decision, come to God and everlasting life, or turn away unto yourself and eternal damnation. Your choice. Have a happy eternity. (You will spend it somewhere, the point is, where?)

You're joking, right? Have you picked up a newspaper or turned on the TV lately? "Adults" are literally KILLING each other over the PS3 game.
Try again, do we need a "Sky Daddy" or not?

The same ADULTS that kidnap and kill kids, the same ADULTS that rob stores, the same ADULTS that have made the adult entertainment industry one of the biggest in the world, the same ADULTS that drink and drive.
You are so positive on your thoughts on the idea that there is no God. Are you willing to spend eternity paying for it.

Okay. So you don't need "help". Why would you care what we do or think. If you're so self confident, why are you asking this lengthy question.
