Hello-if you have teachings-and stuff-but you never experienced personally coming to know a person-then really you just are saying you believe what papers or people say-say someone said they could fly-but you never saw them fly-at best you could say maybe yes maybe no.

If Moses wrote about "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to make atonement for your souls." Leviticus 17:11
maybe that is true but if it is -with no temple you have no atonement let alone a personal God -unless you believe Isaiah who predicted 700bce about Messiah and atonement

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will be exalted. First he will be marred more than any man. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life to make ATONEMENT for our sins."

yet even if you believe that -at best maybe its true maybe it isnt-maybe Moses and Isaiah lied-you cant be absolutly sure unless you personally come to know this Messiah.

I have he is my good shepherd as david said and John 10 says too!

Hi Ben so happy that you have found the Lord, and yes you cannot really understand the Old Testament writings untill you have come to believe and know Jesus as your Saviour, and when you do this His Spirit of truth reveals the mysteries to you.
