I guess they will just have to repent or they'll go into the lake of fire.

When you lie, you keep that lie in the back of your mind until it begins to eat at the gray matter, you start feeling guilt and anxiety and your conscience starts reminding you what a destructive thing a lie is, ( a flaw in your character ) and how lies fall apart so easily putting more pressure on you to lie again, and once more to cover that one.
A lie will always imprison your conscience ( ethics, morals, honor ), The truth, although many times hard to swallow WILL set you free. A truthful person feels good about himself all the time...FREE of guilt or guilty conscience.
Once you have purged your mind of all your lies and misdeeds, you will truly feel liberated and cleansed.
What ever church or deity lives in your mind should already helped you to understand what Jesus really meant, which was confess who you are to yourself ( Own your behavior ) and "The truth shall set you free" many people don't practice what they preach.

Hi, there is a saying that goes,` too Heavenly bound to be any earthly use` and I apply this in the context of the infighting of Christian denominations, we have the truth or we are the true followers of Christ and your lot are going to Hell etc,
now as far as I can see Christ will not be asking us what denomination we belonged to on earth but rather what did you do to further my body, what did you do to bring souls to Me.
and what shall we say? Lord we were busy trying to keep the others in check for you, and we tried many ways to twist your words to fit our agenda to sell our way as the only way.
it is no wonder that other religions look at us and turn their heads away when we can`t even manage togetherness and unity in Christs name.

I believe that God will give everyone a chance for the truth. It doesnt always have to come from a collective or a book. Sometimes God talks to people in other ways. Thats what I believe. Its about being open to it.

The truth itself has never set anyone free and all church rules are based on lies so to answer your question nothing will happen unless people realise they have been lied to

That would depend on the extent of the error. Does the error lead toward other gods? If they hold faith in Christ then what else really matters? Jim
