Read this: these are quotes from medical doctors who know more than you on this subject.

How can you condone abortion after reading that? No human person should have the right to kill another human, yet it is legal in our country.

why do you oppose it? If two individuals love each other let them be happy. I don't understand why all these religious conservatives hate freedom so much. Always trying to shove irrational bible stuff down people's throat.

Example one: someone walks up to a person and says Jewish people will burn in hell.
Example two: someone walks up to a Muslim and says all Muslims must conform to Christianity.
You would most certainly agree that the people who suggested such things should be jailed for hate speech.
Hate speech:any speech which promotes hatred or insolence toward certain classes of people.
Now say a christian walks up to a non-believer and says Jesus is the only way while taking him through the ten commandments.
Its the same thing.I don't believe in myths; and speech such as this can infuriate me to the point where I may strike back with violence.Everybody feels the same way.Any form of evangelizing is SPIRITUAL RAPE that cannot be tolerated any longer. We must propose bills that include Christian evangelizing as hate speech. We cannot tolerate this suffrage any longer. Please no negative comments.THIS is my question and I will not tolerate any insidious remarks from irrational Christians.

why do we fight? what's the point?

we're all born in the Middle East.

we're all Abrahamic Religions.

we have one singular prophet, Musa for the Jews, Jesus for the Christians, and Muhammad for the Muslims.

we have the Taurat, the Injil and the quran, who all have bits and pieces of each others religions.

does these make sense to you all?

till when we must fight?

Do you realize that we are created in the image of God?
Doesn't that mean every one of us has the same powers God has?

The only difference between these 3 religions is: One got their messiah nailed to a stick, the other had its prophet fly into heaven with some pony, and the other still waiting to get either of the previous to happen. But otherwise they are pretty much they are the same religion with talking god bushes, floods, and god playing a joke on parents to shank their kids. Talk about irony.

In John 10:10, what did Jesus mean when he said that he came so that people would have life and have it more abundantly? What did he mean by "the abundant life"?

The New Living Translation (2004 edition), translates that verse this way:

"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."

Now I know, based on the way Jesus lived, he did not mean rich and satisfying as in health, wealth, and prosperity, the way some preachers are teaching today. Jesus promised us (Christians) none of those things. He promised, however, that he would always be with us and never forsake us. But what did he mean by "abundant life"?

I know that some people are opposed to the New Living Translation and that's fine, but it's the translation that God has used to speak to me personally. So please, if you would, refrain from making any comments about the NLT. I am looking for solid biblical answers to my question. Thanks.

I dont think there is any hope.

if people "still" condemn Muslims for retaliation even when Palestinian/Israeli conflict has been going for a half a decade, then there truly is no hope.

It was interesting to observe very insensitive comments made towards this subject in one question. Truly, human life has no value it seems.

What do u all think?

Or if you don't believe in heaven, what do you think about, telepathy?

Some people can basically do this now, it's the Spirit that comunicates this way. Sometimes I feel what others think.

I know it's true, I've done it, usually only when a Spirit comes near.
I believe were born with this spiritual gift.

I know some of you would think I'm crazy, that's only normal, if you don't understand it, because you never experience it.

It's a serious question. It just occured to me that when I say my prayers every morning and night, I always thank God for my life and all the good things I love. But then I realised, I loved living, but did I love God?

I guess first I need to know what God is, but I want to know how I can love Him more, too. I owe him so much, and I just wish I could repay Him.

I understand that Catholics use the term Priest for their clergy but in Protestant denominations, what is the difference between a minister, preacher, and a pastor? Do certain denominations have particular titles for their clergy? Does the title used denote their level of training/education? Or does it refer to the number of people in their congregation? Does their title depend upon whether they are paid a salery or have another occupation besides clergy?
