Do you realize that we are created in the image of God?
Doesn't that mean every one of us has the same powers God has?

Yes we can. Everyone.
We are in a big time of transition right now. The entire earth and all of us on it. Look at how many psychcs and lightworkers there are these days. How many children are being born with amazing gifts.
The second coming isn't ONE PERSON. It is EVERYONE. Everyone will have these abilities and the earth will be transformed. We will all be as God, filled with Love and the ability to create heaven on earth.

Yes, Adam (or Mankind) was created in the image of God, but that doesn't necessarily mean that each individual person is an image of God. Adam, being created in the image of God, and also considered by God to be his son (or offspring) would certainly have the same powers as God. But that only applied to Adam while he was alive. Because of his transgression he received a death sentence, and has dwelled in the world of the dead ever since. Being dead, he is blind and cannot see, is deaf and cannot hear, is lame and cannot walk. And now instead of possessing the Knowledge of God, he possesses no knowledge at all. And is unable to perform even the smallest miracle.

No. They were sign gifts to the Apostles so they could prove that God was with their teachings.Even toward the end of their ministries the gifts were becoming less powerful.Paul who had healed many, said toward the end,"Trophimus I have left sick at Miletus".Once the Bible was completed, there were no more need for them,on a regular basis.I still believe there are some, very ,very few who have these gifts.Usually in a missionary's field where the power of God needs to be shown.God can and does heal,He is the Great Physician.

The myths of miracles performed by Jesus are creations of the time to establish the superiority of his message in a language which people of the age could understand. They are no necessarily true. The greatest miracle of Jesus is the spread far and wide of his message of compassion and goodwill. We Christians helping its further dissemination are also miracle makers in our own right. Mother Teresa was perhaps the greatest miracle maker. It is these miracles that would help spread message of Jesus rather than turning water to wine. Yes, as creatures of God, all of us have all the divine powers within us but for these powers to be effective we would have to rise ourselves to that status of miracle makers. Then and only then these hands of flesh and blood can have divine powers.

Christ didn't perform any miracles by his self, he did it with power of the Holy Spirit and God. He always gave glory to God for anything he did. He never said "I" do this based on "MY" power. Once Moses said "I bring forth water" and that resulted in him not entering the Promise Land.

In the image of God is not the same. The image we were created in is that we are eternal beings, and free moral agents.

I may be corrected about this but Jesus said to the Apostles this very thing and it seems that they were given this power to work miracles to enable the young church to expand and reach out, there does not seem to be many people working real miracles today though.

No.

Read Genesis chapters 1-3. We are created in God's image. We were not made to be little gods. Besides that we fell.

I walk on water in the winter too. Of course that does not make me a little god.

Jesus still performs the miracles. We humans are merely the tools He uses.

We do not perform them.
Jesus performs them through us.

Be careful to NOT touch the glory of the Lord, nor to take credit for what belongs to Him.

Every miracle is performed solely by the power of the Holy Spirit, who usually chooses to work through those who closely cooperate with his divine will.

If God wills it, you can do it.

If you can't, then he doesn't.

Simple!
