Many people are now saying that the end of the times is near. That the four horsemen of the apocolypse are coming soon. How many of you believe that? What makes you believe that? What signs have you seen and heard about that you can base on your answer?

Since you don't believe in any God, how do you suppose we came to be here on earth? I'm not mocking or trying to say that you are wrong in what you believe in, I'm just confused and I want to know your stand on things. Thanks

I'll let you answer, but my guess is that nearly everyone came here to learn . And after you've been here awhile, have you let yourself sink to insults and hateful bashing ?

How do we know jesus was sinless? How do we know the bible wasn't just a romantic novel, a bit like a barbara cart land, or jane austin, i mean, who actually wrote it???

I just wondered why the Holy Ghost is left out in the dedicated days front. God has way too many (about 52 if the weeks are right), Jesus has two, his birthday and deathday (and several other minor ones around Easter) - shouldn't the Holy Ghost get at least one?

And thinking about it, isn't Halloween the most appropriate? We can all dress up in sheets and pretend to be the Holy Ghost!

Anyone agree?

I have always thought of the Holy Trinity as being similar in concept to:

1. The Notorious B.I.G.
2. Biggie Smalls
3. Big Poppa

3 in one, yet 3 different entities,

the similarities to christ are uncanny also.
1. betrayal
2. killed by haters
3. lasting legacy

My question is this: does anyone else believe that this rapper came as a messiah?

How come so many of our white women are sexually distorted?
I mean, it's not good for ANYBODY to misuse sex. And I feel for all people. But I was almost completely ruined by internet porn. And what I begin to realize is that there are literally THOUSANDS of women (mostly white) that show and do ANYTHING with ANYBODY. No inhibitions whatsoever. Just look in the magazine section of any store, and there they are, luring us in on covers of magazines, spread out in centerfolds. Then in the adult stores it looks like our women are POSSESSED for sex! With men, women, ANIMALS, objects......The porn movies and internet porn nearly tore my family apart. It's difficult for me to respect woman anymore. I seem to see all women as skanks now. Where is it all going?

As an aheist, where do we draw the line?

Christian Hedonism is the idea that by following Biblical teaching it is the greatest good and most pleasurable. Deeper: that our joy through God is a motivator. Our joy in Christ over flows into love for other. To quote John Piper "God is most glorified in us when we are most satified in Him." John Piper is the one who coined the phrase. This is the basic concept. It is much more in depth.

I need to know, because I keep worrying about death. I just need to know. Because I want to stop worrying about death. I want to know how long I am alive for. How many years. How many years can my body lasts before it gives out and I die.

your religion tells you that god has infinite love for us and he will still allow many of us to burn for all eternity? Does that remain consistent with a loving, forgiving, compassionate god? Can god live with him/herself knowing that? It seems to contradict everything that god stands for.

If you're gonna give me the "god does not send you to hell, you send yourself" argument. Notice that I wrote down "allow us" to go to hell. Meaning if hell does exist, he can stop it at anytime.

I was raised believing in God and I do with all my heart and soul. I could never get into religion for many reasons. First, men wrote the books, second, the hipocracies were too many, third, I just don't get inspired by it at all. But I developed my own beliefs about religion by researching and having an open mind. I wan't my son to have the same opportunity without me influencing him.

Please do not mistake God for religion. I know some of you will say Jesus is the one and only God. Please save yourself some time and don't bother.

I am talking about telling my child what religion is so he can keep an open mind. When he gets older and wants to learn more, I want him to have that openess still.

He asked me the other day what religion is and all I could say was, let me get back with you before I answer that because it is a very important question and I want to make sure I give you a good answer.

I appreciate your thoughts and opinions as long as they are open minded

Might grasp your attention! Dr.Tariq Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Qur'an that mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. men are equal to women. Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times the word MAN appears in the Holy Qur'an is 24 and number of times the word WOMAN appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24 = 24.

Here are some more examples of the balance between the terms mentioned in The Noble Qur'an:

Life 145 times mentioned...... Death 145 times mentioned

Benefit 50 ...... Corrupt 50

Dunia (one name for life) 115 ..... Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115

Malaika (Angels) 88 ........... Shayteen (Satan) 88

People who are mislead 17 ........... Dead people 17

Magic 60 .......... Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60

Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32 ... Barakah (blessings of wealth)

In religious matters people argue to believe in blind faith, but where is the difference in Christian blind faith and let's say the blind faith that was used in....

"The Manson Family"
"People's Church" (Jonestown)
"Heaven's Gate" (Hale Bop)
"Aum Shinrikyo"
"Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God"
"Catholic Inquisitions"

All done in the name of God and through blind faith. Religious groups never seem to question their sources, yet say how everyone else is at risk.
