Pope Benedict is not against Islam. He was pointing out that Islam has a history of violence and that it is still continuing. He wasn't questioning the religion, rather the spread of violence in the name of the religion. Christians are not supposed to have sex before marriage either but we do not always do what is expected of us. That is a sin that needs to be forgiven. A person needs to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, repent of ones sins, ask for forgiveness and receive God's love and grace. Catholics believe that when a priest blesses the water and bread, then it is holy. Believing in God and leading a life based on his will and serving him is the only way.

This is a doozy. I"m Roman Catholic, so I should be able to answer the pope question for you.

an other question what is the holy water that they drink from the pope and the holy bread, i think it is bread and water what made them holy??
When the priest prays over the wafer and wine (or water when holy water is made) it is touched by the HOly Spirit (part of the Trinity) and cleansed. The wafer and wine become spiritually, but not physically, the body and blood of Christ.

...another question why the pervious pope was with Islam and the pope now aganist it..shouldn't they beleive in the same thing and behaive in the same behavior...
Isn't bible is one all over the world??
The current pope isn't against Islam! For the love of all that is holy, people, read the freaking speach! He used a quote (and a bad one, I"ll admit) to show the kind of intolerance we have to over come! It was a quote from a few centuries ago, not reflecting his feelings in any way. He even says, in his speech, that he doesn't feel that way. HIs whole freaking speech (that no one bothers to pay attentiong to) was about tolerance and getting along with our fellows. INstead, the media takes one line (one line!) and makes him out to be some hate-monger!

REad the speech and then talk to me. If I recall right, right after that quote, he then makes a quote about accepting Islam and helping our fellow man. He wants world peace, not war. You're letting a bunch of hate propaganda rule your questions.

I'm afraid your usage makes the clarity of your speech very confusing, ma'am. But then, since you're obviously an Egyptian, perhaps, English is not your forte.

Primarily, I've no idea whatsoever as to what you mean by "monking"

Your narrative on pre-marital sex is, honestly, totally confusing. You seem to say that Americans and Europeans and certain un-named others indulge in it while Egyptians don't. But then, you say that some Christian boy and girl also say that this pre-marital sex is wrong!? May I assume you're talking about Egyptian Christians as opposed to American, European etc, Christians?

Well, ma'am, pre-marital sex is frowned upon by Christianity; but then, whatever gave you the idea that all those in the Countries you mentioned [a] have loose morals and [b] are all Roman Catholic Christians?

In Islamic Countries, we hear that young girls are married off to even old men by their parents and the girl has no choice in the thing. To us, this is repugnant. To you, it's your culture. Do you see us criticizing you Muslims?

Whether you drink wine or not is your prerogative. Please do enlighten me as to how does this make you "holier" than me? Oh, by the way, ma'am, I'm a teetotaler.

As to the bread and water, if you're referring to the wafer and wine of the Sacrament, I think you are sufficiently confused, so, let me not add to this. So too, with the reference to one Pope being "for" and the other being "against" Islam!?

Perhaps you need to know that Christianity is not all Roman Catholic.

But then neither is Islam, isn't it? You have Shia, Sunni, Ahmadiaya, Dawoodi Bohras, Cutchi Memons and Sufi and so many more cults there. Is the Koran any different for all these people?

No. It's the Interpretations by their leaders that are different, hence the cults. Similarly, ma'am, with Christianity.

Do have a nice day.

True Christians abstain from sex before marriage if they are following Bible principles in any land/nation they might be born in. It makes no difference. Jesus turned the water into wine for the marriage feast. It was his first miracle, so Christians can drink alcohol but because self-control is one of the fruitages of the holy spirit, the key to any drinking would be moderation and the consideration of the spiritual welfare of all those around you. As far as the holy water, I never knew it was used for anything internal. I have heard that some use it externally as a blessing thing, but we, as Jehovah's Witnesses, do not. Partaking of bread and wine at the yearly celebration of the Last Supper is to be done by only the 144,000 annointed Christians who will rule as kings and priests in heaven with Christ. Anyone else partaking of it would be considered unworthy of doing so. Yes, the Bible is the same all over the world, but unfortunately, Satan has promoted many false teachings and started many false religions--just enough truth in them to make them SEEM right--but lies included so that the followers will be destroyed right along with him and his demons......He wants all to die. Do not be misled by him.

To be honest, I'm a little confused by your question... you're asking a lot and it kind of bounces around. But I'll try my best:
First off, yes.. the bible is universal. Doesn't mean that everyone in all areas of the world take it as seriously as other parts. I had a friend get back from China recently. In parts of China, Christians are forced to worship God in hiding because their state doesn't allow it. And do you know who they were praying for? North American Christians. Seems odd, right? Why pray for us? We have everything, are free to express our religion. If anything, we should be the ones praying for them. Culture plays a huge role in how people behave. I think Christianity in North American culture is one of the weakest in the world. I don't know what you mean when you're asking about sex. Are you asking why people are having sex here and not in Egypt? Our culture here teaches us that it's okay to be promiscuous and sleep around. Advertisements and television preach it to us all day long. I've never been to Egypt and I don't know much about their culture, but I imagine free sex isn't something culturally accepted there. But I dont think you can just look at culture as a whole. As a Christian, I take sex very seriously. I don't believe in sleeping around with just anyone, and I think that sex is a beautiful part of a marriage.

The Bible is the same for every one through out the world.

People focus on different points of the Bible, this means that they take one thing more serious than another.

This means that they also have weak points, where they do not think the Bible no longer applies or where the they add their own meaning or thought to what the Bible does say.

People in America no longer think that getting a divorce is wrong, or that getting remarried, or drinking, or sex before marriage, and soon homosexuality.

There are many ways to answer your question; but I will start with this concept.
In America, many people have failed a test given to many. The test; What is the old testament
An addition to God's word says it is Genesis-Malachi. However, God's word (2 Tim.3:16-17) indicates that it is the law of Moses. (Can one have the law of Moses before Moses was born in Exodus 2)?
I will stop here for now on this question.
