Might grasp your attention! Dr.Tariq Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Qur'an that mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. men are equal to women. Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times the word MAN appears in the Holy Qur'an is 24 and number of times the word WOMAN appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24 = 24.
Here are some more examples of the balance between the terms mentioned in The Noble Qur'an:
Life 145 times mentioned...... Death 145 times mentioned
Benefit 50 ...... Corrupt 50
Dunia (one name for life) 115 ..... Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115
Malaika (Angels) 88 ........... Shayteen (Satan) 88
People who are mislead 17 ........... Dead people 17
Magic 60 .......... Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60
Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32 ... Barakah (blessings of wealth)

How do people come up with that? Yes it really is amazing. It boggles my mind to try to think of how someone figured all that out. I dont think it proves anything about the book though.

Speaking for myself, it is not so much that I am fascinated as surprised. I cannot understand why people believe in a god without any convincing evidence that this supernatural entity exists. But atheism doesn't have a point. It isn't really a cause or a belief, it is just the default position if you do not believe what religious people believe. I, like I suspect may other atheists, come here to try and neutralise the people of religious belief because they try to impose their view upon the world and, in some cases but by no means all, that view is plain dumb. I don't apologise for saying they are dumb. For example, I am quite appalled that creationists who believe the world is less than 10,000 years old want to influence the teaching of science in may countries across the world. Creation science, as it is often called, is quite simply absolute rubbish. These people are dangerous and should be opposed. I'll put your argument back to you. If people want to believe, then just believe and don't come here seeking to make atheists seem like bad and immoral people. Don't warn me that I will spend an eternity in torment just because I don't believe in a god. Not all believers do this just some. Why do some believers seem to take delight in what they see as my ultimate suffering and misery? Presumably you also intend to describe as pointless those people who go around all day knocking on doors trying to convert people to their particular faith? Wouldn't it be better though, just to encourage us all to just talk? Isn't an honest exchange of views across the whole community a good thing?

So Mohammed tried to balance out how many times he was crazy with the number of times he was sane too I guess. But I bet you could probably find similar balances in the Bible, that way you can say you're a religion of love, while leaving some things in there to stir up hatred when you need the sheep to go on a rampage for the power of the elite. Trust me it's all crap, the sooner you figure that out the better off you will be.

Er, well, I do find it fascinating that people are so interested in this kind of thing.
Any sufficiently long text will be full of coincidences like this. People find meaning in coincidences, in randomness, etc. Your interest in this is a perfect example of a nonadaptive side effect of a trait acquired through evolution.

What significance to you attach to this? As an atheist, I just see a coincidence.
