Love will indeed solve all of our problems, if only people would be fearless enough to love one another unconditionally. It is not easy for some people to understand that loving others without any sort of condition or prerequisites, will only bode well for everyone in the end. Love heals all wounds. If you, therefore, believe in the power of Love (which is to say, the power of God) then be the change you wish to see in the world. Be the most loving person you possibly can, and start a trend. I'll join you!

jesus, budda,gandy???
You're coming from way back in the pack, aren't you?
Sure, we can have an enjoyable time on earth, but it is slightly inaccurate to refer to any good time on earth .....as heaven.
Please have a peak at Psalm 115:16.
It says the heavens belong to God and that He has given the earth to mankind.
Two different places.

It is unfortunate but in our modern world and in all historic periods where monotheism ruled in one form or another prior to now, "love" had/has very little to do with the equation. "Power," on the other hand, has just about everything to do with it. Consequently, those that lived their lives motivated by love, be they Gandhi, Jesus or the many other forward thinking leaders, religious or otherwise, all ended up dying violently. Why?

Because they rocked the boat and started making life difficult for those who held power.

I see no reason for this to change. It is part of human nature to strive for something better. And if that better thing is over there, in another country...

You see where this will ultimately lead! Which makes me think of that Tina Turner tune.

"Whats love got to do, got to do with it
What`s love but a second hand emotion"

After the rapture and the 7 year tribulation, there will be the millennium, a 1000 year time on earth where people will live according to the way God intended. People will live hundreds of years, will worship the true God, Jehovah and sickness and death will be greatly diminished.

We could have heaven of sorts on earth. It's an awesome idea, but unfortunately not all people are raised to see that love makes the world go round, that tolerance breeds acceptance, and that acceptance brings freedom to all.

Because every society on earth is based on the haves vs. the have nots. Even online games now have to have economies so players can have vs. those that do not have.

Its a human trait that unfortunately I do not feel humanity will ever overcome.

Love is one aspect of God, but it doesn't completely embody Him. Just because God is a loving God doesn't prevent Him from being a righteous God.
