No.
I have an entirely controlled conscious desire to prove religious people wrong just for the fun of it, and I derive great satisfaction from it.

Not at all. I'm too secure in my beliefs to feel the need to criticise others. See, the reason people like you feel that need is because, deep down, you have doubts about your own beliefs. Thus, by criticising and finding faults with other religions, you are bolstering your own belief, or at least trying to. I have seen this time and again with people from all faiths, and let me tell you, the burn-out rate for people like you is sky high. The same goes for people who over-proselytize their beliefs. I think that spiritually you are on very shaky ground, and would be very suprised if your maintain your current level of faith for more than a year or so. Mark my words.

No, I don't. I feel like we are all essentially looking for the same thing out of religion. We are looking for a higher power and answers to questions that can only be answered upon death. I am a Christian, but have learned by listening to members of other religions that I have learned a lot more about myself and found answers to questions I never would have found.
I feel religion and race have a lot in common. If we were all to be a lot more tolerant and listen to what the other side has to share, in both cases, we would learn so much and our lives would be so much richer for it.

No, but if my or someone elses beliefs are being attacked I will use everything I got to defend it and attack the attacker by trying to prove them wrong. That is the only time. Sometimes I come across as an a**hole but it shuts them up. If everyone could just respect others beliefs this world would be alot better.

I feel an uncontrollable urge to prove people from any religion wrong. Reason:
It makes me so sad to see how they are wasting their time, hopes and efforts for a wishful thinking.
Believe me or not, I do that by altruism

i sort of find myself repeating that there is no need to constantly judge one another's religions. and this is coming from a person with no religion so i do find me on a short leash when people get aggressive and fanatical over nothing.
in a sense i do try to preach tolerance so i am probably guilty of sometimes trying too hard.
why? probably because i dont see how people can be so affected by what a religion they dont believe in says.

Not at all. I think we have so many different faiths because we are such a varied people.
Now facts are a different thing altogether. I see lots of people on here who just have the history of facts wrong. But then if they're content to wallow in their ignorance, then I guess it's their lie.

Hardly. Besides one cannot "prove" much of anything when it comes down to issues of faith. However, I suppose that most people who take their beliefs seriously are willing to defend and promote their beliefs. The sharing and debating of ideas and beliefs should be a noble endeavor and I would not want to see it held in low esteem.

Depends upon their religion. is it really a way of life for them or do they use that particular word to get things from others or harm others? Then your dealing with a bunch of phoney's not a religion. Religion is a way of life. It's all about true faith.
If they get in your face about their religion and you feel uncomfortable then you need to learn everything about your own faith to defend yourself. A good defense is a good offense :-)

sometimes but i stop it by thinking that what good am i doing if i am shoving my ideas down someone's throat forcefully? I don't care if they have a different religion from me. They got their own opinion and own view. As long as they don't hurt me, i will leave them alone. If they wish to impose their ideas on me then i will not retaliate. I'll just say i have a strong faith in my religion so thanks for the offer but i'm good.

No. I think it's useless to do so. I think the only time you can effective change a person's religious view is only when an individual is having a really bad life.
Religion gives up hope, if your "hope" has failed you, you'll seek for something else.
