does it continue to live when we die? Is it everlasting? If it is - what happens when a human is cloned - that i'm sure is happening already - does it (a clone) has a soul too? or only half of the real person?

I see alot of you guys participating in a lot of religious questions. I would like to gain a better understanding of your stance. What is it that does it for you that you declare yourself an atheist? What are the pros of your belief or more accurately, disbelief?

I can't find the question now but a little while back someone asked about the evolution of viruses that we see and didn't that support evolution.

Some replied that this was mutation not evolution. Now there is no qualitative difference (both just involve rearranging the base pairs of RNA) so any posited difference must be quantitative. Where is the boundary between mutation (possible) and evolution (impossible)? What is the mechanism that kicks in to stop mutation going betomd a certain point? And how do we know that that mechanism limits mutation to such an extent that it stops evolution?

I have read the theory that mutation stops at the boundaries of the species but haven't read of any mechanism that would ensure that.

This is what Ozymandia said:

The absence of a higher power denotes a lack of accountability for ones actions...

That is why I do not trust anyone who is an athiest.

I find this ridiculous and shows how stupid some people are. It's like saying you refuse to talk to Muslims, Gays, Women and Little People. (just a reference)

I hope he is the only one that thinks that cause in all fairness shouldn't Atheists be the ones that don't trust religious people for believing in something fake? But wait, we don't judge! We accept others beliefs for their own personal choice. Where are your thoughts on this

In the book of revelation it talks about a war waged, the archangel michael will bring a group of angels (i think 1/3 of them) with him to earth to do battle against the devil and his minions. now i have to wonder. what will the battle prove? if angels die where do they go? if they dont die they how are either side going to win when all are/were angels at one point. and if they die will that mean there will be sadness in heaven for the losses of those fallen in battle?

The word of God say to be Holy for I am holy.People who are not seeking God's plan in there life find fault with people trying to live as God has planned it. All belivers should try to live Holy and the world would be a better place, not perfect but a beter place.

Since the al Aqsa mosque currently sets atop of what was once the Holy of Holies, the mosque must first be destroyed. Do you think it will occur in our lifetime?

When I was three, my mom made cookies and put them in a jar on the counter. She told me that they weren't for now and that I couldn't take any. I was young and innocent and I took one anyway. Is it weird that she's still holding this over me to this day (I'm 23)?

Ok, forget that one. When my mom was 3, she did the same thing, and my grandma now blames both of us. Does that seem right to you?

If you are an Athiest, then there is no higher law then your own,
so if you lived in a society that that says that you can kill someone if they make you mad and its ;legal, Would it be okay ?

I ask this cause in some countries you can kill people for very mundane things and it is legal
Also things like child sex, beastiality, drugs, debt slavery are all legal and accpeted, woulndt these things be okay too if you follow no higher law then your own and your culture ? ?
