When I was three, my mom made cookies and put them in a jar on the counter. She told me that they weren't for now and that I couldn't take any. I was young and innocent and I took one anyway. Is it weird that she's still holding this over me to this day (I'm 23)?
Ok, forget that one. When my mom was 3, she did the same thing, and my grandma now blames both of us. Does that seem right to you?

LOL. u know what according to the bible, Adam sinned and we are being punished for his sin. that means our great great great great......... lots of greats...... grandparents sinned and we are being accused of the same. hardly fair in my opinion.

It seems both your mother and granny have an unfortunate fixation on cookies. It is wierd. Usually by the time people are adults, if there is any discussion of any indiscreet cookie thefts when one was small, it is accompanied by laughter and an "awwww, wasn't that cute?"
Oh well. You are an adult and you can change the path. First of all, you can eat cookies without any guilt (well, not too many, obviously) and you can intsead of holding grudges with your own children when they are adults about cookie indiscretions, you can all laugh about them!
