It seems like vast education in religion, history, and philosophy so many atheists claim to have, they would have gotten this down by now. Any reason for this?

(PLEASE read the whole question first!!!)

Someone said that in another post. Why? I am a Christian, and because I divorced, and remarried, I am biblically an adulterous. So, does it stand to reason, I can also not be a Christian?

Isnt Salvation between a person and God alone? Who are we to judge who "can" or "cant" be a Christian??? We arent supposed to judge, noone can know anothers heart, right??

I think you CAN be homosexual, and be a Christian, anyone else?

It seems that alot of people are at a constant struggle with eachother over what is true and what is not true.

Unfortunately, science has been unable to confirm or deny anything in the realm of religion with any accuracy.

Before you answer - I am looking for something a little deeper than the garden variety answers here.... I will NOT be selecting any of the following as best answers:

1) "It's true if it's in the Bible" or "The Bible is the word of God." (This leaves the question as to which of the 100's of known versions of the Bible we are speaking about - why should I listen to you over the other guy?)

2) "It's all a bunch of hullabaloo. I don't believe in anything." (This type of answer is entirely too depressing to contemplate)

3) "You should convert to ___blah blah blah___ or else...." (I don't need to explain why I wouldn't support this with 10 points)

The historical, Biblical Gospel invitation is "Repent and Believe" (Mark 1:15, Acts 16:31, etc.).

Why do so many "evangelists" use watered-down invitations such as "Ask Jesus into your heart" or "Let Jesus save you" or "Make a decision for Jesus" when nothing like this is in the Bible?

returns(as christians believe)for the second coming ,looks around and see's that what he was preaching is not what the christian churche's are all about,he would probably say what are all these biuldings with idols, coloured glass, men wearing all these different coloured garment to show what rank they are in the church wearing strange hats etc,i never preached that, why are all my followers members of different churche's(catholic, protestant) with different ideas of what i preached, why aren't all the males circumsized as i am and part of what i am about,i preached basic orthodox judeism but you people have turned it all into a circus, this is not the way.,,whats your opinion,?

Will this other life also have their versions of The Bible or Q'uran, or will they just be too far away from The Holy Land?

(Or will intelligent life elsewhere be too intelligent)?

I mean, you keep coming back to the whole "Sex outside of marriage is a sin, sayeth the lord" crap when attacking gays. You do this because The Bible says that you shouldn't follow Old Testament law any more, and the New Testament doesn't really mention homosexuality at all.

OK, so is it cool for two dudes who are married to bone? Because no where in the Bible, or any damn where else does it say that a man has to marry a woman.

Uh-Oh, a glitch in the Bible? Unheard of!!

BTW, while we're on the subject, don't you guys believe that the bible is infallible, and that if any imperfections were to be found in The Word, it is to be, so to speak, null and void?

Does that mean I have just destroyed God? Does that make me God?

Wow, the contradictions keep piling up, huh?
