I don't think it is a question of whether or not god is too busy for you, but a different question. If god always came and helped you when you called, what would your life be like? If I could call god at anytime, i think that i would become reliant on him and probably wouldn't' t have learned many of the lessons that i have in life. I also think that people have this false notion that when god helps you, you will know it. Many times I have wanted a quick fix, but most of the time i see small things. If i make an effort in one area of my life, it seems that i am help in another. I believe that is god. Does that make sense? i think that if you work to live a good and righteous life, he will help you, even if his help is not something you notice. Your house, food, family-those are all things he has helped you with. He is everywhere and nowhere all at once.

God placed mankind on Earth to have fellowship with Him and to look after His creation-all of it. He commands us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help those in need etc etc. We have the wealth and knowledge to make a difference but many of us do nothing about it. This is God's fault? Besides, sometimes the answer to prayer is no. We don't know God's purposes because the finite can't possibly read the mind of the infinite. What have U done to alleviate the misery of others? Are you in obedience to God's command to help those in need? If so, how many others could help that aren't? If not, why not? And how dare you blame God for your own failings? It is impossible for humans to judge God because we're not omniscient. People in North America are infamous for waste and obesity while millions go without. God has blessed North America with more than enough resources to help those in need, yet the need is still there. Why? Because the majority of us are selfish and couldn't care less about the misery of others. So in fact God has done something about it, it is man who does nothing.

God is able to hold the entire universe in the palm of His hand. He's an awesome, sovereign God. God knows what His children are in need of, but His ways are not our ways. He loves His children more than we can even begin to imagine. Why does God seem to let some suffer, while others are blessed? We don't know, but He has a reason and plan for everyone and everything. He knows what is best for us, we don't, although we like to think we do.

God does everything in His timing. He does not ignore people who are seeking Him or calling out to Him---but according to His will they will be answered. Many people want an immediate response and sometimes God even does that!
Proverbs 15:29
The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Lamentations 3:25
The LORD is good to those who wait for him,to the soul who seeks him.

Yes God is Omnipotent and no he's not too busy. His time-frame is not our own.He works on a level far beyond our human understanding. Isaiah 55:9 states :"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Waiting is meant to grow patience and God is more concerned with the development of our character, than he is with our comfort and convenience.
Thomas Edison once said:"We don't know a millionth of one percent about anything."
But God knows all !

He tells His people to wait because He has a time for everything; His timing is always right on time, not when we want it. He can help everyone exactly when they need help. Remember He created the universe by His word. He didn't have to lift a finger.

God isn't busy, but sometimes I need to learn to wait, learn patience, learn that what I might think is important really isn't in the grand scheme of things, the scheme that only God sees.

He is quite capable, We cannot always understqand why He doesn't intervene when we call on Him. We feel like the psalmist who cries out: "Wake up God! What are you doing? Why do you allow the wicked to prosper?" I guess God's agenda is not always the same as ours. Much as I would like to understand it better, I prefer to trust Him and his agenda.

I think sometimes we become so focused on our own little hill of troubles that we don't see the moutains being shifted around us. We are too busy with trying to empty the sinking ship with a spoon that we do not see Him raising His mighty hands to dry it up Himself.
