This is what Ozymandia said:

The absence of a higher power denotes a lack of accountability for ones actions...

That is why I do not trust anyone who is an athiest.

I find this ridiculous and shows how stupid some people are. It's like saying you refuse to talk to Muslims, Gays, Women and Little People. (just a reference)

I hope he is the only one that thinks that cause in all fairness shouldn't Atheists be the ones that don't trust religious people for believing in something fake? But wait, we don't judge! We accept others beliefs for their own personal choice. Where are your thoughts on this

I COMPLETELY disagree with Vij's statement "Atheists don't accept nor hold themselves accountable for their actions because they blame others instead of themselves."

If I do something wrong, *I* am woman enough to admit that *I* made a mistake. *I* take responsibility for my own actions. If I hit a park car, that is MY fault for not paying attention, not the other person's fault. JESUS!!!!!!

I wouldn't trust an atheist regarding anything to do with the Bible or Christianity because of obvious bias. I do, however, have friends at work and elsewhere whom I would trust to act in a, for lack of better terms, civilized and moral manner, and they are either atheists or agnostic or just plain carnal. They respect my right to believe as I do and I respect their right to believe as they do. If some person tries to ridicule my beliefs or attempts to arrogantly "prove the Bible wrong" when obviously without knowledge then I rise to the defence of the Bible. Not because the Bible or God need defending but because the individual is either blatantly misinformed, ignorant of complete knowledge on the subject at hand or is clearly taking the Bible out of context. If someone asks me why I believe as I do I will tell them

My thoughts. I have no reason to not trust an atheist. They are not bad people, usually, and can be just as moral, and sometimes more so, than Christians.

But on the other hand, MANY on this board do judge, they resort to name calling, and bashing. There are many on this board that get a kick out of antagonizing us. No, them, I do not trust, not even a little.

Some people are wise enough to do good because it is good. Many people are not, and need to be threatened with things like divine retribution (although the thought of being raped in prison can work too). As Richard Dawkins points out in his recent book questioning the idea of God, doing good things out of fear of higher powers is not really morality.

Also, don't judge and then say that you don't judge.

If an atheists can't come correct without insulting and bashing then their words to me fall quickly to grounds. I come to this site hear only believers but if I met an atheist on a street corner and they have something that I want to hear then its a guarantee I am listening. "We don't judge" is what you just statement and you just did the opposite. People who don't believe in God are not allowing Christians to "LIVE AND LET LIVE." Atheists don't accept nor hold themselves accountable for their actions because they blame others instead of themselves.

Shalom
