If someone finds fault with you for your choice to live a 'holly' life then...that is Their issue - not yours.
God lives, operates and works thru all of us - even the non believers. We do not decide Truth, or Spiritual Law, only God does.
The world will be a better place as we learn to Forgive each other and choose to live in Peace. Holy? Maybe...Maybe not.

Problem. God's people (by and large) aren't living holy lives these days. No one likes a hypocrite. If we were truly living holy lives, people would not have anything against it. It is when we try to say ***Look at me, I'm so holy...*** WHEN WE ARE NOT that people start to hate the name of Christ because of how WE act.
Christ never did anything to show people how GOOD he was, he did not have to.
We are not holy, we are sinners like everybody else. We are made holy through Christ's work on the cross.
Thats my $.02

Holier than thou is believing you are holier than you actually are/better than you are. It is to do with thinking you're a God, not living God's way. I have no problem with people living God's way, but being big-headed, I do...

the thing is no one really knows Gods plan .. not you and not i
our beliefs differ and no one is wrong in what they believe
so to assume that people who find fault with others because they dont know Gods plan is assuming that you do ....
maybe it is this in itself people are finding fault with

I guess you think that the bible is the word of God? If you want to believe that, it is your right. It is not your right to preach hate and discrimination because your little fictional book says so. I wll not bother you, so you don't bother me, either.

Perhaps you should look back into what acting "holier-than-thou" means. It's a colloquial expression.

*L* you can respect life and others with or without God......if you pondered your existence a little better, you'd realize the chance of being alive in itself is quite amazing, and that in itself is enough to have

People who don't believe in God, usually don't live by any strict moral standards, and do whatever they please, so when someone who does believe in God corrects them, they are greatly offended, and that is why they accuse believers as holier than thou.
