as Catholic we need to remember that the Holy Mass is the bloodess sacrifice of Calvary and that Jesus offers Himself to the Father giving praise and adoration and we the body of Christ unite ourselves with Christ in praise of the Father.
and what I learned was the wisdom of the Catholic church, spoken by my Priest.

If going to church is about praising and worshipping our God, than why even bother asking what you got out of it? The question is, "What did you put INTO Mass?" Maybe if more people started asking that question, we'd all be going a little more often. It's not a ME thing, it's a HIM thing.

I don't go to mass. I like to sit on my living room floor with an entire roll of aluminum foil wrapped around my head. This facilitates the god transaction.

My god is a silly god....some times he says things like "breaker, breaker, we got a smokey on our tail" or "Mr. Talbert, please report to the white courtesy phone" try as I might, I cannot figure out what he's trying to tell me. All part of the plan, I suppose.

I learned that it's difficult to go to mass on a cold day. My knees hurt.
