then can you explain how these verses are considered righteous acts?
2 kings 2:23-24
Elisha Is Jeered
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Leviticus 24:23
23And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

-God commands a man to be stoned.

story of noah, god kills thousands and thousands in a flood.
story of samson, god gives samson strength to kill 1000 philistines.
story of david, god lets david kill goliath.

Think about it, any contradictions are disputed with the 'God can do anything' circular reasoned answer. That's not supporting fact, that's simply taking the easy way out of attempting to answer a rational question with a rational answer.

I mean, I get that answer in here, 'the bible has never been contradicted because it's all true and fact'

no, it has, and will continue to be, except you can't dispute circular reasoning, which is what preachers and leaders so tightly hold onto and ingrain into their followers. In their heads, "god can do anything and make anything happen, and all questions that dispute this is satan trying to trick you'.....is that fact? No, it's circular reasoning, and what has been the tool of control used for the last 2000 years to keep that book at the forefront of mainstream belief systems.

Like the religious right, which has toppled shown in the last elections, extreme religious behavior will begin to fade as the youth gets more educated.

The bible is just a book someone wrote, and was manipulated over hundreds of years by the Church so it is very bias.
And just for the record, I am a straight guy and I think homosexuality is natural and is NOT a sin. The real sin is judging people for who they are and who they were born to be. There is nothing wrong with being gay. Actually gay people are the most compassionate, loving people I've ever met, so in my opinion they are even closer to God, because God is all compassionate & loving.

What does the LDS church say now about thier teachings that the American Indians are descendants of the Jewish race now that DNA evidence has proven that they are actually descendants of the Asian race?

Even though Farm and Apologists will through in theories of hows this research could somehow be wrong (dna testing is only 99.99999999999999999999999% accurate)

Wouldnt Gods Truth be more evident ? Kinda like even if you dont belive in the Bible historically most of it can be proven, but the case with the BOM isnt this isnt the case.
Why would GODs new message be more obscure ?

Couldn't you put a little more back into it and try to keep up with scientific advances? You've caught up to heliocentricity but that was, like, soooo thousands of years ago...Evolution and the Big Bang are pretty cool, too! I don't see what the hang-up is? but hey I wanna know if God has given any ppl a good singing voice or does he want us to practice, I wanna do many different types of work (evangilize, missionary, preach) I wanna help this lost world and I have a great burden for todays youth and I wanna start a christian rock band shud I pray for a better singing voice(Im ok) or is this one of those cases where God helps those who help themselves(btw Im oneness Apostolic)

Have you had divine intervention which has resulted in your life being saved?
Have you had contact with your angel?
When you get to Heaven will God come to you saying "well done good and faithful servent", or will he pass you by to embrace your exhausted angel for keeping you alive to do His work ?

I think that Christianity gets so messed up, bombarded with doctrines that the forget what being saved and in grace means..


Sometimes I just want to yell!!! Why does all the little things matter so much?

They are sad, angry, confused, frustrated and no matter what they do life just seems to get worse for them. When I look into their eyes, they look dead on the inside. I have several catholic friends and besides being catholic, this unhappiness is what they all have in common. I feel bad but I do not want to be in their presence anymore as it brings me down. What can I do.
