well I'm not Jewish but i have been in the food industry for along time i know a few things... It depends if they eat Kosher or not. Not all Jews are Kosher. Kosher means to kill the animal without pain, to have raised the animal free of chemicals, and that the animal is disease free. Also, you can not cook in the same place or with the same tools as non-Kosher food. Like, if you are Kosher you need two ovens, two sets of utensils, two of everything, even two dishwashers or sinks. Orthodox Jews only eat Kosher. There is also something about not mixing meat and dairy. Like a hamburger not a cheeseburger. I always wanted to know more about this practice.

I assume you mean kosher food. First, if it is meat, it cannot be any form of pork. A cow, chicken, sheep, duck, whatever animal, must be killed in a humane and painless way. The meat then has to be prepared a certain way such as being soaked in salt water. No dairy products can be used in the preparation of any meat product. Utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc can only be used for meat or dairy dishes, they cannot be mixed. You can learn a great deal on line by searching for kosher cooking.

It depends on what sect you are talking about.
Some basics:
No meat & dairy together (this includes butter)
Use dishes, pots, pans, untesils etc...that are set apart for either meat or dairy
All food must be kosher (on packaged foods look for the kosher seal)
Buy meat from a kosher butcher
In very very strict observance if you are not Jewish and have contact with the food it isn't kosher.

you need a book to go into all the details.
Main points------
Use only Kosher killed meat and chicken (killed a certain way and blessing said over the animal).
Keep meat and dairy dishes and never mix them, or serve these two food together.
Learn what is forbidden to eat and what is allowed. There is a list of things that are forbidden to eat.
