I hope this helps
The Group from Jerusalem were not the only ones on the American continent you know.
The Book of Mormon is not about proving the Historical accuracy of itself the record itself is to prove to the nations of the world that Jesus is the Christ.

I'd be interested in learning more about which American Indian tribes they actually did DNA testing on. I would also be interested to know if they did any testing on the Lacandon Indians, since there are only about 500 of them still living in Chiapas, Mexico. Traditionally they have maintained almost pure bloodlines and often have "white" Indians - I've seen photos from the 1940s and 1950s of them. It doesn't bother me that there are probably more than 2 or 3 groups of people who came to the Americas - it's a huge land mass and you could live at opposite ends for a long time without realizing other people were there. Have a happy day.

Science can't prove God exists either, and the story of Christ could be called hearsay. At least with the Book of Mormon there were actual witnesses who saw the actual plates and wrote down what they saw. At least one of those people left the Church, never to return, but never denied the genuineness of the plates/book of mormon. Also, if you've read the Book of Mormon you would know there were more than one group that came to the Americas, it was more likely 3+. However, when it comes down to it, religion is not much more than an extension of our faith, no matter what religion you are. If you believe in God, then you must rely upon the spirit to teach you, as the Bible tells us, it can't come from the wisdom of man.

I wonder if it has ever occured to anyone that the reason the American Indians DNA so closely matches that of Asians is because, perhaps, there was a large group of Jews who migrated/were scattered (think the 10 Lost Tribes) east and assimilated into Asian culture, leaving behind their Jewish ways in favor of the Asian ways.

Hey there, read this one. you can find other cool articles from this website.

In Doctrine and Covenants section 1: The Lord said He did it on purpose that people should not trust the arm of flesh and that faith might increase on earth, but trust Him and the power of the Holy Ghost. People can not find truth by researching, because it's withheld from them, but to ask God and know with surety. In the end, all things shall be unfold. Even the prophets in the Book of Mormon said that they are not writing a history and geography book, but the only reason was to invite all to come unto Christ and receive His salvation. I'm young and don't know many things in life, but I do know that the Book of Mormon is true!!! Its prophets were real and they loved the Lord with all their hearts and one day as they wrote, I shall also meet them at the great last day and say "thank you" for what they wrote for this generation.

Whoever said that the people of the Book of Mormon of Jewish descent were the only people on the American continent? There were many other groups of people here, and I don't doubt that some of them were of the Asian race too.

The reason why DNA test doesn't agree with Mormons is because Joe Smith was a false prophet. What he teaches goes against Scripture.
